Excellent breakfast. They have a restaurant. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Parking is available behind hotel, and one block away for overflow. Location is close (within 5-10 minutes walking) to the Lake, several additional restaurants, an ATM machine and other businesses. Also, the church where the wedding scene in the Sound of Music was filmed is just a 5-minute walk away.
Schlosshotel Mondsee is located in the center of Mondsee, next to the Basilica of Saint Michael, and only a 5-minute walk from the shore of Lake Mondsee.

A gorgeous quiet town set on the beautiful St Wolfgang lake and at the foot of the alps. Lovely shops and restaurants. We could walk around the town easily and there is a regular bus and boat service to other towns in the area.
