Beautiful, serene location in the mountains. Amazing views of the snow-covered mountains. Well-equipped vacation home in a nice ski resort. Very cool decorations in the apartment! The covered parking garage was nice to keep the car out of the weather.

Very compact place with everything we needed. We used the kitchen as well, it was well equipped. The towel dryer came in handy after heavy rain on the slopes.

Rosengarten is a beautiful little hotel about 1 mile outside Tarvisio. While our room was small, it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and very responsive when we had a problem with our TV. There are very pleasant grounds around the hotel where we relaxed after finishing day hikes. Breakfast room was very pleasant, coffee good and breakfast offerings very nice.

The owner stayed late for us to arrive (because we had a long road by car) and welcomed us at 22:30 with a smile. Also next day we could check out a bit later and I quote "take all the time you need". The rooms are surprisingly well equipped and you get all you need (towels, sheets, shampoos etc). They accept pets! Breakfast was wonderful. Everyone is very nice. Also morning walk is a surprise as you have w great views of the Alps Mountains. Also the city is apparently a great spot for hiking & biking rides. For us it was just a stop on the way but we really enjoyed it and I can see myself returning there to experience the hiking/bicycle trails.
