Guest rooms were very comfortable and very nicely maintained. The hotel is very old and is showing its age. Floors are very creaky and the lobby area is in desperate need of a makeover. The grounds outside and the golf course were beautiful.
This hotel has a stunning setting in the shadow of the Pap of Glencoe and surrounded by the beautiful Ardgour Hills. It offers rooms with homemade cookies, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Staff were nice, but service was slow or incomplete. We asked for something simple downstairs, And they were nice enough to say they would bring it up in just a few minutes, but never showed.

One of the best places we have ever rented. Studio is set up to make you comfortable and they have thought of everything. The owners were wonderful and friendly. Showed us how everything worked, and even made our dinner reservations for the 2 nights we were there. Amazing view-decorated beautifully. Large bathroom with giant tub. Glencoe is a beautiful area and we had a great time because of this lovely studio and the friendly people that own it.
Featuring sea views, SeaBeds - Luxury Lookouts with Hot Tubs offers accommodations with a terrace and a balcony. The pods are located right on the shore of Loch Linnhe.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

We stayed in Beach House 3 for two nights and it was far too short. Plenty of space with huge picture windows and a well equipped kitchen. The view and the facilities were phenomenal. Hot tub sunsets and then star gazing with dark skies. We could not recommend this enough and we will definitely try to return.

The surrounding areas of Glencoe - has ample walking 'areas' whether on the flat or for climbing. As far as I am aware, you have to travel for nearest shop for provisions - But we were self sufficient - as I had packed reading material and things for us to do as we were there for relaxation.

pretty much central location.
pretty much central location. A lot of historical locations - including the area of the 'Glencoe Massacre' (you can 'feel the tension in the atmosphere in that area) - (well it gave me the shivers - the 'silence' of that area is haunting). We also visited the Glenfinnan Viaduct (AKA The Harry Potter bridge) - nice walking around this area - unfortunately we were too late to catch a view of the steam train!
Check in was very friendly and informative. Room was comfortable and cosy.
Good bar area to have a pre dinner drink and the barman was very chatty and informative about the hotel's gin brand. Dinner and breakfast needs to be booked as the hotel is very busy. They are mostly served in the conservatory area with superb views out over the Loch and the mountains. The food was excellent and service great with all the staff being very friendly. A good addition is the pool and spa area which we didn't use but looked lovely.
We loved everything about his property. Firstly, the view is perfect and there is space to sit outside and enjoy it. The inside is very well laid out and is very clean and comfortable. The accommodation has a five star hotel feel about it. Quality fittings, great bed, crisp white bedding, great coffee machine, luxury soaps etc, beautiful bath and fab shower and lots of lovely sweet treats. The host met us with the keys and made some recommendations on things to do and restaurants, a very warm welcome.

A very special hotel, truly a unique experience, as it is a renovated castle / mansion with only 5 huge suites and breakfast / dinner is served directly to your room.
Staff is very friendly and helpful (activities, tips etc)
The view onto the lake and the surrounding gardens are spectacular! Truly a place to come and disconnect, indulge in the beautiful nature around the hotel and enjoy a very special couple of days.
The property is located on the banks of Loch Linnhe, just outside Ballachulish so well positioned between Fort William and Oban for visiting the west coast, both north and south of location.
The hosts are excellent and helpful and suggested lots of things to do and places to visit.
The cycle track across the road is a great way to walk along the loch and to access the Holly Tree hotel (25 minutes) for a great meal.
A great unique place to stay. Owner Rodney is a hoot, very humorous, Loch Leven is clearly a labor of love for him. Part of your stay must include dinner at the hotel but also pub before and after dinner to meet Rodney, other guests and the locals. Everyone very chatty, all guests friendly, we had a terrific rainy evening in, just hanging out and talking (with many pints of Guinness :)
Great Location on the shore of the Loch, away from the touristy bustle of Glencoe itself. Hotel built as extension of an Old Railway Station with interesting historical information on the walls. Fabulous food in the restuarant both for dinner and breakfast. Bonus of jacuzzi and heated swimming pool which was a great alternative to a stroll in the chilly drizzly gloaming after dinner.
Staff was super nice. Restaurant had amazing food. The view in the morning and evening was unreal. Right at the Loch. Breakfast buffet was super blend of local specialty and your normal staples. Close proxemity to all attraction; we visited Glencoe National Park as well as Isle of Skye hikes and made this hotel our base camp. We all loved it.
Hosts were wonderful. The place was exceptional. Lots of space. Well decorated. Spotless. So great to have such an inviting, roomy and comfortable space after traveling out of small hotel rooms with that cramped, scattered luggage, in transit feeling to them.
Ballachulish is in a beautiful location in Glencoe, at the mouth of Loch Linnhe, and in the middle of some of Scotland’s most beautiful mountains. The hotel maintains the historical look and feel, while still providing excellent rooms, lounges and dining.
Decided to take our first trip to Scotland after recently moving to the UK from Ireland. Glencoe seemed to tick all the boxes and to get to stay at SeaBeds really topped it all off. Amazing time in a truely beautiful spot. Highly recommended.
The location was beautiful and the staff were nice. The hotel looked lovely inside. The views were simply stunning. The house was spacious, with a few extra touches would be worth the price however you would expect more for the price you pay
Lovely, clean room. Very accommodating for myself and dog. Got a lovely tour around the hotel, and shown to our rooms. My dog was adored and very well looked after, water was offered to him at dinner and breakfast. Would go back.
spotlessly clean
nicely decorated
comfortable bed
kitchen has cooking utensils
very homey feeling
being in a little village, not in a touristy place.
nice view from the kitchen and dinner table
Excellent hotel, fantastic location, Staff very helpful. Hugh bed and bedroom, very comfortable. The food both in the bar and restaurant was exceptional. Pool area excellent. Highly recommend
This hotel is exquisite and immaculate!! I can’t say enough about it’s beautiful decor and location BUT the Staff tops even that—so professional, kind, helpful, ready to serve in anyway!!
Got under heavy rain on the motorbike, had to look for a hotel nearby - great room with heated radiator in the bathroom to dry the clothes, very good dinner in resident fish restaurant
This is a nice little historic hotel with a splendid atmosphere and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast could hardly be any better. The staff ist friendly and helpful.
