One of the best places we have ever rented. Studio is set up to make you comfortable and they have thought of everything. The owners were wonderful and friendly. Showed us how everything worked, and even made our dinner reservations for the 2 nights we were there. Amazing view-decorated beautifully. Large bathroom with giant tub. Glencoe is a beautiful area and we had a great time because of this lovely studio and the friendly people that own it.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

We stayed in Beach House 3 for two nights and it was far too short. Plenty of space with huge picture windows and a well equipped kitchen. The view and the facilities were phenomenal. Hot tub sunsets and then star gazing with dark skies. We could not recommend this enough and we will definitely try to return.

The hotel, its self, is very accessible and there are ample parking spaces.
The surrounding areas of Glencoe - has ample walking 'areas' whether on the flat or for climbing. As far as I am aware, you have to travel for nearest shop for provisions - But we were self sufficient - as I had packed reading material and things for us to do as we were there for relaxation.

pretty much central location.
pretty much central location. A lot of historical locations - including the area of the 'Glencoe Massacre' (you can 'feel the tension in the atmosphere in that area) - (well it gave me the shivers - the 'silence' of that area is haunting). We also visited the Glenfinnan Viaduct (AKA The Harry Potter bridge) - nice walking around this area - unfortunately we were too late to catch a view of the steam train!
Robert and Morag were wonderful hosts with breakfasts made to order and a dinner cooked for us that exceeded our expectations. My husband and I could not say enough about the hospitality offered by this wonderful couple, the beautiful location, and the House itself. Comfortable, welcoming and generous - I took my first bath in years in the deep tub in our bathroom! We explored the Highlands from this location as a part of a 10 day vacation to Scotland. Every recommendation Morag made was spot on. We would return again.
We loved everything about his property. Firstly, the view is perfect and there is space to sit outside and enjoy it. The inside is very well laid out and is very clean and comfortable. The accommodation has a five star hotel feel about it. Quality fittings, great bed, crisp white bedding, great coffee machine, luxury soaps etc, beautiful bath and fab shower and lots of lovely sweet treats. The host met us with the keys and made some recommendations on things to do and restaurants, a very warm welcome.
The location of the hotel and it's views were exceptional - we had a gorgeous view from our room which heightened our stay.
We enjoyed a 3 course meal and the food was of high standard - the venison and haggis bon bons in particular! And the Scottish breakfast was the best we've had during our road trip!
Basics like tea, coffee were supplied and there are items such as bags and scarfs for sale, which I regret not buying!
Staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Great wee hotel with spectacular view of the lake and the mountains! Super comfy bed and good size room. Very clean. Friendly and very attentive staff. The pool and the Jacuzzi ( very hot water which I loved!)are a great bonus! Overall very pleasant stay and defo would be back in the future.
Also it's worth to mention, tasty breakfast and dinner and last but not least - the best sticky toffe pudding I have ever tried!
Thank you guys, for amazing stay :)
A very special hotel, truly a unique experience, as it is a renovated castle / mansion with only 5 huge suites and breakfast / dinner is served directly to your room.
Staff is very friendly and helpful (activities, tips etc)
The view onto the lake and the surrounding gardens are spectacular! Truly a place to come and disconnect, indulge in the beautiful nature around the hotel and enjoy a very special couple of days.
The dinner was so good it tasted amazing and the views from the dinning room were wonderful. The room and decor were in character with the old style hotel and it has beautiful gardens which lead down to a beautiful view of Loch Leven bridge where there are incredible sunsets.
Hosts were wonderful. The place was exceptional. Lots of space. Well decorated. Spotless. So great to have such an inviting, roomy and comfortable space after traveling out of small hotel rooms with that cramped, scattered luggage, in transit feeling to them.
A hotel that dates back hundreds of years. Staff was very nice. Nice quiet drink in the lounge while we watched the deer in the neighboring field. Weather was typical (rain) but it is Scotland. Breakfast was very good.
The restaurant staff were fantastic and so attentive. Dinner was delicious and well priced.
Views acroiss the bay amazing.
Quirkey Hotel....love their dog policy...wished we had had our pouches with us.
Great location, lodges were clean and well equipped. Dog friendly. Hotel breakfast and dinner was lovely. Amazing staff in hotel who accommodated us as a large party. Location is perfect for hillwalking.
We stayed in 7 hotels during our stay in Scotland and this one was the most expensive one. The concept is very cool, cute lodges in a great location, very clean and wonderful, very welcoming staff.
spotlessly clean
nicely decorated
comfortable bed
kitchen has cooking utensils
very homey feeling
being in a little village, not in a touristy place.
nice view from the kitchen and dinner table
Excellent hotel, fantastic location, Staff very helpful. Hugh bed and bedroom, very comfortable. The food both in the bar and restaurant was exceptional. Pool area excellent. Highly recommend
This hotel is exquisite and immaculate!! I can’t say enough about it’s beautiful decor and location BUT the Staff tops even that—so professional, kind, helpful, ready to serve in anyway!!
Very charming historic hotel with a very good restaurant. It was much better than some of the reviews made it sound. The common rooms are like a step back in time, in a good way.
