We had planned a 5 day trip by staying in Myrkdalen and...
We had planned a 5 day trip by staying in Myrkdalen and exploring Flåm and around. We did drive everyday which was a bit hectic. One or two extra days with relaxing and hiking locally would have been better.

Our linked bedrooms had beautiful views over the ski slopes. Breakfast was good quality buffet style with lots available; the free coffee in reception area was a bonus. There are lockers available off the main reception to put skis in, ask reception for a key. The pizzas in the upstairs restaurant are a must !

The room was very comfortable and the WiFi was quick. There was a bar with games and books, and a sports cafe nearby to enjoy a warm drink. The free coffee and tea was a great touch.

The hotel has a nice and cosy lobby - it was good to hang out there and drink some tea there in the evening.
