Funes is a lovely spot surrounded by hills. Seems like a bit aside from the "civilization" but just out of the crowded cities. Nice if you are looking for a base camp for hiking and exploring Dolomiti.

this is a gem within the gems that the Dolomites are.
this is a gem within the gems that the Dolomites are. this is the place to be if one wishes to have a very relaxing stay, enjoy the views, walking/hiking in the forest and along paths. The Val di Funes has a few restaurants but it has retained the charm of an alpine village. It is convenient and lovely. We visited 4 other valleys in the Dolomites and we definitely prefer this, especially during the gorgeous "indian summer" weather we experienced in late October 2021.

This is an amazingly beautiful valley in the Dolomites. The people are so friendly courteous and helpful. The location we stayed at was close to all the local hiking trails and an easy drive to explore other valleys

We were here for the first time and will be happy to return.Accommodation is in perfect location, beautiful nature, skiing 10 min by car. Large spacious apartments. Friendly owner who arranged fresh bread, yogurt, milk. After skiing you will appreciate the possibility of sauna, which you can book only for yourself :-). We will be happy to come back :-) Thanks, Paul

The room is quite old fashioned but it gives you all the space needed. The host is very friendly. On the terrasse, there is even a possibility to enjoy a complementary coffee or tea. The breakfast buffet could look tiny but it reallly offers you all you need for all the taste (even local Apple pie)

As a family we were super comfortable in an apartment where we could do our own cooking and enjoy the sauna in the room. We stayed in winter and were cozy in the rooms and very close to the national park to enjoy the snow. 10/10, you won't regret staying here.

Val di Funes is a valley in northern Italy with alpine atmosphere and stunning views of snowy peak mountains and forests. The apartment is big, confortable, super modern and very quiet. The view is jaw dropping and Monika and Tanja are super nice. Everything was perfect.
