Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots of people. We decided to go slightly further a field and walked to one of the huts. For those visiting in a day trip be aware that one side of the lake involves climbing up and down steps so give yourself enough time and wear the right footwear. This location has something for everyone

We travel a lot, but I do think that this area in the Italien Dolomites was one of the most beautiful one. Would highly recommend it, especially if you love to hike through woods, etc. - it has a very Austrian feel in the architecture - the area belonged to Austria until the end of WW2.

Great views of the surrounding mountains and just a 6 minutes drive from Lago di Braies which allowed us to be there early morning, before it got crowded. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very generous and diversed, and probably the best we had during our trip to the dolomites. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant - it was delicious and so reasonably priced that we'll easily have came back just for it. Staff was nice and helpful.jonathanIsrael

The hotel has a good location (for everyone that want to go to key points in the dolomites and has a car) and amazing views to the surronding green fields and mountains. The staff was always so friendly and nice! Also, the breakfast was good and the food in their restaurant was amazing - really well cooked and tasty. We strongly recommend this place. :)

Proper agrotourism.. we were in the farmhouse. The host took us to Lago de Braies for the start of the Alta Via 1 walk for a small cost which was really helpful. We walked down to the village for supper, which took about 10 minutes. Good communication with the host when I was booking as we were a group of 7. Would recommend and would use again.

The breakfast was great, the food just kept coming out! We only stayed the night as were were driving the lakes and mountains so the hotel and room was perfect for this. Was nice to return home in the evening when it was chilly outside, to a lovely warm and clean room.
