Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots...
Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots of people. We decided to go slightly further a field and walked to one of the huts. For those visiting in a day trip be aware that one side of the lake involves climbing up and down steps so give yourself enough time and wear the right footwear. This location has something for everyone

We travel a lot, but I do think that this area in the Italien Dolomites was one of the most beautiful one. Would highly recommend it, especially if you love to hike through woods, etc. - it has a very Austrian feel in the architecture - the area belonged to Austria until the end of WW2.

The breakfast is cozy and has many delicious homemade pastries. I'd come back just for those! The rooms have all been remodeled and are modern, clean and comfortable. And the location is perfect, just a few minutes from Lago Braies and close to several good restaurants in their own village. I would definitely recommend this to friends and stay again if we're ever in the area.

The location is perfect to site see lago di braies less than 10mins by a car and cortina D'Ampezzo 40mins by car, etc. I cannot fault this place if I tried. I would recommend it for anyone from single to couple to families and the elderly. The photos you see on the ad are exactly how everything looks in person. The owner is so adorably wonderful and welcoming. I would stay here again.

The room setup was spacious and very high end looking, but very comfortable. There is a beautiful trail right next to the hotel that has a bridge with a waterfall and a stunning Mountain View; they even have bunnies that run around in the snow.
