La feclaz has two main types of skiing - alpine downhill and Nordic cross country. It is a small resort generally populated by French patrons but is small, friendly and has no major queues or huge crowds like the major french resorts. Lift passes are cheap, equipment hire is also good value. There are no snow canons so the slopes Do suffer from some melt and pools of slush but I have to admit that we were only there four days in the uk half term in Feb, the weather could be better and many places suffered from lack of snow this year. The slopes aren’t many as it’s a small resort but more than enough for kids, beginners or parents with kids. There is also a benefit of a second twinned resort le Revard only 5 mins drive up the road. You can buy a dual pass for both resorts. Sledging and tubing is also available at le Revard.
