Peter is an amazing host that welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. The location is incredibly stunning!! The room is large with a private bathroom and each room has their own specific kitchen supplies. Everything is well labeled and organized. The location is a beautiful location in the countryside, surrounded by farmland. And right down the street from the Ballenburg living museum. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful even on a cool foggy morning. Food was very good and fresh. The rooms are quite unique but comfortable. We only stayed for one night and was unable to take advantage of everything. Parking fills up so if it is important to be in the garage, make the reservation with the room.

The view of Lake Brienz and the waterfalls are stunning. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Dinner was decent ( we really like the venison) as was breakfast- quite the spread. Our room was normal sized, clean and comfortable. Nice modern bathroom.
