Peter is an amazing host that welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. The location is incredibly stunning!! The room is large with a private bathroom and each room has their own specific kitchen supplies. Everything is well labeled and organized. This was a huge room with seating area and the nicest shower we’re had. The rooms are very up to date and clean with the most beautiful view.

This quaint hotel in picturesque Iseltwald was warm, hospitable, and helpful. The hotel is set on Lake Brienz. We were able to travel by boat from Iseltwald to a wonderful waterfall and famous hotel in Geissbach. The restaurant served an excellent dinner. Their breakfast had a nice variety of choices.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park.

The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.
