Our apartment was in Arc 2000.
Our apartment was in Arc 2000. There is a regular gondola between the 2, but you have to use a lift or walk up a short steep snowy slope to reach it.
Both Arc 2000 and 1950 are very nice, lots of restaurants. 1950 is rather busy for both skiiers and pedestrians along the same narrow streets. This would put me off booking there.

Picturesque village with great little supermarket which is unsurprisingly expensive. Good shops and variety of ski rentals. The restaurants in the village are, without exception overpriced and poor quality. There are some excellent restaurants on the slopes.

I ski alot. 5-7 weeks a year. I will never go back to Les Arcs 1950 and generally the Les Arcs ski area.
Too busy, too many people on the slopes, Les Arcs 1950 poorly serviced by bad restuarants and bars and you have to queue for everything! (50 minutes for a ski pass on a sunday, 45 mins for ski hire, 45 minutes for the bakery to get bread!)

Arc 1950 suited our family.
Arc 1950 suited our family. Everything we needed was there, supermarket, bakery, ski shops, drink and food places. no cars in the village was great. The village is not big so it is easy to get around.

Easy to access by train.
Easy to access by train. Good range of runs, except for beginners. Mostly fast, comfortable lifts.
Still too much focus on local Savoyard meaty cheesy food - lack of vegetables with meals, lack of vegetarian or vegan options.
What can i say about this property.
We absolutely loved it! Maud is a great and extremely helpful host who equipped the flat at very high standards.
The location at Princes de Cimes is fantastic, just exactly the modern convenience we are looking for when we travel every year at Arc 1950!
Very cosy living room, fully-equipped kitchen with a high-end Weber electric grill, we even had a barbecue during snowfall! Card/board games, very nice decoration.
Personally, i'm looking forward to rent this property every year if possible!
Amazing location. All amenities very close. Apartment spacious but cosy. Beds made up on arrival and lots of fluffy towels. Well equipped kitchen. Great ski in/out. WiFi very good. Balcony not accessible due to locks which was a shame. Pool not on site which is not clear from the listing, reception did not tell us where it was. Radiator in dining area not working. Overall I would recommend this apartment. Thank you.
This apartment is all about the location. Truly ski in ski out to the boot room which has direct access to a blue piste. For a ski apartment, we found it to be very spacious for a family of four and the balcony gets sun all afternoon with a view up to Arc 2000. The kitchen was well equipped and communication with Thierry was absolutely 10/10 - one off he best hosts we’ve dealt with on Booking.com. Merci!
Perfect and convenient location, gorgeous apartment with very clean and super stocked kitchen. A lot of nice little touches that make you feel at home. Ski in, ski out and ski through the very pretty ARC 1950 village. The grocery, ski rentals, ski school are just a few steps away. Parking is easy downstairs and we can use luggage carts to bring our stuff up easily using the elevator.
The apartment was excellent, it had everything we needed for a lovely stay in Arc 1950. The location is great, ski-in and ski-out. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking our own meals, and the balcony has a great view of the slopes. The owners, Julien and Jordi, are very friendly and always ready to help if there are any questions or concerns.
Very clean and spacious compared to other apartments we’ve stayed in Arc 1950. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms and the living room/kitchen was fresh and well equipped.
The owner was engaged and communicated information prior to our arrival and the bathrobes, slippers and bottle of Prosecco to welcome us was a nice treat.
I would happily book this apartment again.
Our favourite lunchtime was to visit the Boulle cafe on one of the slopes, fantastic seafood and French cuisine at a really good price (unlike in 1950 & 2000.) The wine choices are also heavenly…. An absolute joy.
The hotel was a fabulous location, comfy, nicely decorated, stunningly beautiful scenery, ski to door, easy parking, just can’t beat it!
True ski in and out. Located in a nice French Hotel. Room 813 is the top floor and has high ceilings and awesome views. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms are a bit older but very well maintained and super clean, all you need for a ski holiday. Kitchen was updated, very nice and very well provisioned with the Market a one minute walk away
Everything
The appartment was really comfortable, full of kitchenette, clean and very well equipped.
The location super. Right in the middle of the village, next to the slopes.
The access very good as we parked down under the hotel.
Whenever we asked for sth, we had it in the next hour
A very nice apartment in the middle of Arc 1950. The kitchen equipment was excellent. You can ski to the back door, take off your ski boots and go straight to the apartment with the lift, great. The ski area (especially with the expansion to La Plagne) is very beautiful and diverse.
Appartement itself - very good! A lot of space, comfortable and well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom. 2nd beadroom is really small, but we knew it from pictures, so we were ready for that.
Village is amazing, great place for family ski vacation. Real ski in/out.
the location of the hotel, ease of parking and access to room from car, carrying many bags, straight into lift and then room. Very simple. Modern decor. Comfy and very clean
Spotlessly clean and fantastic location. Hosts were really easy to deal with and very helpful. We have stayed in other places in Les Arcs and this one was great!
What a little find. Great value for money and right in the centre of 1950. Very clean and had everything you need. The hotel and facilities were also great.
