We had a great time in Locarno. We booked the rooms with the shared bathroom, and even though it's not the same as having your own bathroom, I have to say they were very clean and did not bother us to use them at all. The location is great, there is a bus stop right next to the hotel and you can go to the center and other towns easily. The service was excellent, Everyone was very nice and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed it every morning :)

Everything, close to the train station. The front desk person was great, very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

New Elvezia offers accommodations in Ascona. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room.

THIS VIEW 😍 I never knew I could visit a place that had snow capped mountains and palm trees at the same time! Our concierge described Ascona as a “sleepy village” and I couldn’t agree more! Such a cute place and our room was wonderful! We loved sitting on our terrace and it was conveniently located near restaurants. We walked around near the lake a bit before leaving in the morning. If you want a lovely spot to stay in Ascona, I highly recommend Hotel Elvezia ☺️

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Everything was amazing from the staff to the accommodations.
