Location was excellent - right in the heart of a residential neighborhood. Very quiet - no large semi-trucks zooming past during the night. They accommodated a later checkout. Easy drive to Queenstown & airport.

Arrowtown location is stellar. Warm staff greeting on arrival. Wonderful room. Lovely breakfast as well as welcoming plate in my room. Great coffee is also appreciated. Fire in the fireplace at inclusive breakfast enhances homeyness. Fun to dialog with other guests at breakfast.

Arrowtown is a nice to walk around, and good for photography. I came for the fall foliage and it was better than expected. The trees have different shades of color at different times of the day. If you a photographer, this is a heaven. Take the offbeat track away from the Main Street and other tourists, walk down the creek and you will be delighted at what you see.
I tried 2 restaurants - Milhouse and Mosa. Milhouse is strongly recommended for its food and service. The atmosphere is great. Wine list is good too. I will not recommend Mosa regardless the reviews on Google. The place is a bit pricy and service is a little rude.

Arrowtown is an amazing historic town.
Arrowtown is an amazing historic town. The trees were turning gold autumn colours & looking fantastic! The museum right in town is a must see - so much history & exhibits extremely well put together. A walk along the river & also a visit to the old Chinese village nearby is very interesting.
The new Ayrburn area of restaurants & bars only 5 mins out of town is so beautifully landscaped & the buildings have great character. We only had coffee there but I highly recommend having lunch or dinner there. It is an outstanding development & will only get better as they add more.
You cannot miss visiting Arrowtown!

Arrowtown is so much quieter than Queenstown and has a charm of its own. You can however catch a bus over to Queenstown for the day for a small fare. Great central place to stay if you wish to explore the region i.e. vineyards, golf courses, walks along the river and historical sites to explore.

The house was spacious., very comfortable, and well appointed. It had a washer and dryer. There's also a garage and a nice driveway to park in. It was located in a quiet area.
The house was just a few minutes drive to Arrowtown where there were plenty of restaurants, shopping, and historical sites.
We have no complaints. Everything was good! It was a nice place to stay!

An interesting town with a great museum and lots of information about the goldrush. We only stayed for one night. Good selection of pubs and restaurants in the town. A big public car park with free parking for 24 hours. Nice river walk.

Arrowtown is a historic gold mining town, on the banks of the beautiful Arrow River. A lovely haven, close enough to Queenstown but away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful old-world charm and shops, great dining. Has its own wee boutique movie theatre Dorothy Browns (very busy so be sure to book in advance). Very close to Coronet Peak skifield (approx 20 min drive), Lake Hayes walkway, Queenstown Bike Trail. Highly recommend the Arrow River walk (especially in autumn with the fall foliage), visit to the Chinese Settlement for gold mining history, watch a movie at Dorothy Browns boutique cinema, and sampling the local cuisine, beer and wine at the local dining places.
Although on AirBnB, this is a holiday parkas it's main business... but we booked through Booking.com.... so it was nice that we were still given a private room to ourselves that included a double bed... and new/clean towels/ sheets, pillow case, with a shared but very clean and well equipped bathroom and kitchen right next door... just a very short walk away... and yes, next time though I would book straight with the campground to cut out the middle person.
With thanks... Bev and Bryan
A hidden gem within easy walking distance of Arrowtown. Gorgeous autumn views surrounding the cute and cosy cottage and huge section all around. Kids loved playing football outside and Mum loved the outdoor bath. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay and gorgeous little touches from Euni such as pantry items, special chocolates and biscuits. Super comfy beds and gorgeous linen. We would recommend to anyone. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
This was a little bit of luxury, sadly only for 1 night! Arrived at reception to find a personalised note directing us to our room. Cheese and biscuits in room and a small bottle of wine, lovely. Victoria came and introduced herself when she returned and was extremely helpful and accommodating (ice thanks!). Afternoon cake was available in the lobby area, which was smashing! Slept well, good breakfast.
The Shades has the best location in Arrowtown. It is just a few minutes walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, bakery and movie theatre. Situated diagonally opposite the old heritage miners cottages in the central Avenue, the units are set in the most picturesque surroundings. They are spotlessly clean, well appointed, very comfortable and overseen by the delightful and very helpful Brenda!
The owner of the cottage thought of everything! Lots of space heaters, the toys for our 2 year old were a hit, the book she created that gives recommendations on what to do and where to eat (and permission to pick fruit from their trees!) - there were even little chocolate bars left out for us. Really wonderful place. The cottage is on a nice property very close to the heart of town as well.
This quaint hotel was in the main street of Arrowtown but not noisy. Our room was out in an annex attached to the original hotel. It was modern and comfortable but our door lock was faulty and we couldn't lock our door. We did report this . Some maintenance is needed around the hotel. Great food in the pub/bistro and close to everything.
This is a quirky and original place to stay, very clean and comfortable with more space than a typical motel. The owner is super friendly and passionate about providing a fantastic service and accommodation. We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again on a Queenstown and Arrowtown holiday.
Honestly could not fault this place - the absolute best views and only a very short drive to stunning Arrowtown. The cottage was very warm with the fireplace and it was just beautiful inside and out. Without a doubt exceeded all expectations and we will be back for sure
Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in a lovely subdivision minutes out of Arrowtown, mere minutes away from the gorgeoys Millbrook golf course and walking trail. Great amenities in the apartment, comfy beds and pillows, lots of towels and very clean and well stocked.
The location is superb. Quiet. Only a few minutes drive from Arrowtown. Surrounded by rugged peaks. Super spa pool. Friendly sheep... well really only interested in eating bread.
Very clean quiet and safe location to stay.We had everything in our flat. Bathroom and the rooms are very clean.Great location handy to explore Queenstown and Arrowtown
