Hasliberg area and Hotels Reuti and Twing had excellent...
Hasliberg area and Hotels Reuti and Twing had excellent helpful staff. Do not book Hotel Panorama, as they closed with no warning and my daughter was left stranded. Booking.com did not let us know either
We arrived late at night, I don't really like the mountain roads and regretted choosing this hotel, but from the moment I arrived at the hotel untill check out, I loved my stay, we had the best room, greatest view I've ever had, location was perfect, staff were amazing, joyfull and helpfull. We immediately decided that we would like to come back in the near future, for at least 1 week.
My only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights.. should have booked more :)
The location looks like it is right out of Sound of Music, high on the hill with a direct view of a huge mountain range. The apartment is spacious and everything works well - great kitchen open to he living area. There are custom fabricated knobs and pegs and it has a real old world charm. I never felt like I was in an apartment, it feels like a home and you park just at the door and walk in, then up a few steps in the area where you keep your shoes.
Location and cleanliness. Staff in general are good, however, a little bit of more welcoming personality from some (especially at the restaurant) will be nicer. Stayed for 4 nights, a couple of times I felt not welcome from the way I was looked at. But to be fair, at least 2 from the restaurant staff were amazing.
I also liked the access to the cable car next to the hotel.
Everything was ready at check in, the reception team are very professional.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room definitely exceeded expectations: bright and spacious. We stayed only for one night so didn’t cook, but the kitchen has everyone one might need. And the view from the Terrasse - one Love! Breakfast is simple, but very tasty with variety of local products and home made jams and butter. 5 minutes walk to the nearest cable car. Would definitely stay at this lovely place again.
I like everything about this homestay .........owner is v nice and she has green hand and v artistic...... I like every DIY decorative item she made in her garden and her house. Breakfast is good and the room is clean.husband and I really enjoy staying there. If I ever come to Hasliberg, j will definitely choose to stay here again as I want to visit the owner again....I miss her
Value for money is correct as for Switzerland. It's a very cosy place allowing to head out for numerous attractions in the area. You can clearly see that the owners/management/staff put their heart into running this hotel and take care of the details, atmosphere, friendly and relaxed vibe of the place.
I arrived at the top of Brünig Pass by bicycle after a long day's pedalling and a brutal ascent up the last 5 Km. This small hotel was an amazing find, located just at the top of the pass with a panoramic view over the Alps. The staff were extremely warm and hospitable and the food was truly excellent.
Hasliberg is a very quiet, beautiful and safe town. The landlord Barbara is very friendly and enthusiastic. The decoration style of her house is a combination of solid wood style and modernity that I like. The room is spacious, bright, warm and clean. Her house also has a very nice garden.
First time we tried a room without own bathroom but as we were the only ones it was not a problem at all. The breakfast was served at a more fancy hotel therefore the quality was very good. They also provided gluten free options (bread and muesli as well) and some boiled eggs.
The best place of our trip in Switzerland! Very clean and beautiful house with incredible view!!!!!! A big room with a big bathroom, a comfortable bed, a tasty breakfast…. It was the best hiking in the mountains. Thank you Barbara for everything 🙏🏼🤗
Hope we come back!
What a wonderful place! It’s all so beautifully decorated... loved the breakfast area! It was my birthday, and guess what? They gave me a card signed by the entire hotel staff! So nice from them, it really touched me. Thank you! Looking forward to repeat
The most beautiful, quaint, family owned hotel in the Swiss countryside. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The owner and the staff were very accommodating and attentive. The restaurant was amazing and the food was amazing and fresh.
The Dutch owners were delightful and friendly. The hotel has been modernized and had a cool vibe in the common areas. The breakfast was pretty standard. No complaints there.
Great Rooms, very clean, friendly staff, nice restaurant, good food. Perfect location, quiet and amazing views from rooms facing the valley.
Hotel is suitable for kids.
