FAQs about hotels in Riyadh

The Saudi Arabian capital, sprawling Riyadh is a mix of historic monuments and ultra-modern skyscrapers. On a plateau surrounded by desert, it is one of the Middle East’s richest cities, so there are several 5-star hotels in Riyadh.
This wealth is also evident in modern architecture, particularly the Kingdom Center, a perfectly sculpted building looking strangely like a bottle opener. Lit at night, it has an observation deck with fantastic city views.
On its bottom floor is a shopping mall, and there is another inside Al Faisaliyah, the country’s 1st skyscraper. Riyadh is a shopping paradise and there are even more malls on wide, palm-lined King Fahd Road. This king also gave his name to King Fahd Stadium, home of the Saudi soccer team.
Unusually for a capital, King Khalid International Airport is right in the center of the city and there are lots of Riyadh hotels near the airport on Booking.com. South, in Al Murabba, is the King Abdulaziz Historical Center, site of the Saudi Arabia National Museum. Further south in Dirah is 19th-century Al-Masmak fort with souks and mosques nearby.
Wherever you stay, remember that Saudi Arabia is a deeply Islamic country and that local customs should be respected. Men and women may not be able to access attractions at the same time.
Everything is far from each other and traffic is really bad.
Everything is far from each other and traffic is really bad. Kareem is too expensive and most of the time you get extra charges that you cannot do anything about it. Lots of big malls but all of the more or less copy paste of each other in terms of brands.

Riyadh is a very big place to hang around and you might never be able to book a stay long enough to discover it in its full.
The other thing is that Riyadh is a more liberal place for people to be around, just like a lot of big cities around the world you can see all kinds of different people with different background wandering the streets even though Islamic law prevails, they are not as tough on appearing rules as they may be on the smaller villages and towns in Saudi Arabia.
Just don't do anything an ordinary family (member) would not do and don't mingle in religious affairs and you will be safe.

This is a fast-developing country with ambitions to improve the socio-economic status in the region, so there is no doubt it is already standing out with its infrastructure and its plans for growth in tourism and global awareness. Shopping and a little bit of nature are a must if you would like to immerse yourself in the local culture. On the flip side it is becoming very modern and open to all creeds and cultures with parks, concerts, fairs etc.
Language is not necessarily a barrier, as is in most parts of the world, so don't let that stop you.
Best times to travel are during the winter months in Saudi Arabia.

The city still needs more improvement, heavy traffic is killing the city and killing any plans also the car drivers there are very reckless, The LEAP event was established around 90KM from the city center where all the people can find hotels or houses it was literally in the middle of the desert without any restaurants and cafes, also prices in restaurants and coffeeshop are expensive compared to other Gulf cities like Doha or Dubai, In general it is not that bad but if you travelled before to Qatar, UAE and Oman and expecting the same experience you might feel disappointed, hopefully the new vision to Improve Riyadh and to make the new business capital will be in place and Riyadh will be better keeping in mind that 6-7 years ago nothing was there and the city improved a lot since then
Fairly good hotel at the hear of Riyadh. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport. The rooms were good and spacious enough and the bed was comfy. The hotel is quite and clean. The reception people are friendly and helped us get an extension for check out till 6 pm for an additional of SAR 100. There is a nice coffee shop attached to the hotel (November Cafe). You get two complimentary water bottle at the room. It is a traditional hotel not like the global chain hotels in terms of luxury and facilities but it was good.
We loved everything during our stay. The apartment is located in a quiet street, and has probably the best position in Riyadh: close to the airport, to the city center, to Dirʿiyya, and to lots of cafes and restaurants.
The house itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy!
We want also to thank again the host who waited us till 3am, and was always incredibly hospitable and welcoming, always offering help and making sure we were having a comfortable stay.
We can't wait to be back in Riyadh and at your apartment!
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at, with high quality services in a cheaper price. Also, they are one of few hotels with such a great hospitality. If you compare the price they are providing the 3 star service at such a good price. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, thr staff was really good. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. It's a must stay hotel if you visit Riyadh.
Overall it's one of the best hotels in Riyadh👍 hats off..
I will only stay in this hotel when going to Riyadh
Staff are super friendly, The lady during morning hours on reception is super nice
breakfast staff are nice and helpful, Breakfast was good
rooms are huge, comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, and the smell of the hotel is WOW
location is actually one of the best, its in the middle of everywhere, starbucks is a 5 minute walk, a huge mall is a 10 minute ride, pharmacy 2 minute walk.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Riyadh
The locality and surroundings is one of the most posh and best areas of Riyadh. The hotel room is very spacious, clean and maintained. Overall if you want to stay at a very awesome location and are looking for reasonable options, this is your place to be.. The facilities and cleanliness was perfect. They have a very spacious , clean and proper car parking in the basement. The breakfast was also good and acceptable.
I really like this hotel for my business trip, it was a calm and nice hotel with a very comfortable and convenient location close to airport and Riyadh front.
I really enjoyed my stay, and the staff in breakfast area were so nice and accommodating!. Every signal person Ram and the other staff, I would also like to thank Widad in the front desk and all staff the staff made my stay beautiful and pleasant.
Reasonable, hotel at one of the Riyadh's main thoroughfares. In my opinion suited for business travellers mostly. As anywhere else in Riyadh you need a car to move around city. I did not use much of the hotel's services as I spent most of the time in other places but nothing stroke me as below reasonable quality.
I visited second industrial city at Riyadh in a business trip and was advised to reserve in this nice hotel in the second industrial city at southern side of Riyadh city. It’s really good hotel and the stuff are friendly but it’s location is suitable only for second industrial city visitors
Car park free in the hotel parking.
Hotel is very close to King Abdullah garden and in the middle of high ways.
It is 30-35minutes far away from Airport.
also 30-35 minutes far away from Boulevard Riyadh and Boiulevard Riyadh city.
There are a lot of malls close to the hotel.
I would like to thank Mis/Rana who was in reciption. She was helpful, pationt, honest, trying to help whatever can be possible. Really she is good value to hotel. She tell us more about Riyadh City.
Thank u very much to your corporation.
One of the best hotel in Riyadh and my first preference always. Clean and spacious rooms... Very good aroma. Clean carpets and furniture. Spacious bathrooms. Big flat TV. Breakfast is amazing.. With many choice of dishes and tasty
The best location in Riyadh. Around the hotel are supermarkets, pharmacies, and everything else you need. The rooms are very big and nice. Special thanks to the receptionists, who were so helpful and polite.
The hotel is new and beautiful, close to the the Riyadh airport. Only issue is noise from another customer's kids at all night. If additional door is added to the room might reduce noise
Everything was just perfect, the staff, room services and the quietness, the best hotel in Riyadh, special and big thank to the receptionist Fai, she was very helpful and welcoming.
It's close to the airport to it seems to get layover customers by default but once Riyadh metro opens passengers may opt to take the train to better hotels in Riyadh.
