beautiful, amazing views, nice lifts and long trails, but not for the begginers, even blue trails have spots were they are too difficult for the begginers, and you have no way of knowing until you get there.

Demanovska Dolina is a verly long village, so it depends when you are going and what you want to do. If you want to ski all day, I would recommend to find accommodation directly on the slope / under the lift, as otherwise you will have to drive with your car or with a ski bus for 20 - 30 min and you might not even fit in the bus which tends to be full. However, if your aim is not solely skiing, you might want to stay in the village, as the place for walking might be better there than on the slope. The ski area is smaller than in the usual Alpine resorts, but big enough for an intermediate skier. The prices (for the ski-pass, food and drinks) are high for the value you're getting.

Demänovská Dolina is a stunning place that I recently visited. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers a multitude of opportunities for hiking and exploration. One of the highlights of my stay was the option to take cable cars that led me to the ridges of the hills. From there, I could embark on beautiful hiking trails with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It was an amazing experience to venture along these adventurous paths. Demänovská Dolina also provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. During my walks, I enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the sense of tranquility that prevailed. If you're looking for a place where you can truly unwind and discover the wonders of nature, Demänovská Dolina is the right choice. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking magnificent hiking trails and unforgettable experiences.

New ski area for mediate level skiers good.
New ski area for mediate level skiers good. Well prepared slopes. Apres ski not great and no supermarket in the area only 12 km drive away. Beautiful nature and great views. Expensive for Slowakia standards (ski passess 65 euro/day, ski rental 40 Euro/day, ski lession 40 euro/per person/per hour). We will be returning with our expectations adjusted.

Skiing was very nice in these beautiful mountains but slopes are very tricky for beginners or mid-level skiers. There is not any services (restaurants, shops, kiosks etc.) outside of hotels so you are forced to have the package with accommodation and foods.

Nice area. Decent snowboarding slopes.
Nice area. Decent snowboarding slopes. The ski rental shop (the one right next to Happy End bar at the entry to the ski area) was a bit of a con billing us nearly double the rates they publish online and letting us know that only at the end of the trip - claiming the published rates are only relevant if you book online and not at the shop. I’d avoid them at all costs.
It's a wonderful apartment through 2 floors. It seemed freshly decorated and was very clean and warm. It has a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, a perfect big table in the living room for board games. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has two single beds, and there's a family room with its own bathroom/toilet on the second floor, separated by a door. There was a ski holder and a boot dryer. We got a parking space and the house is right next to the ski lifts. The hosts were easy to reach, friendly and forthcoming.
We booked apartment B3 for 4 days of skiing. The location of property is perfect: right on the slope of Biela Put. It is very close to ski rent office, and very good for beginners to start with. The apartment is brand new, very well equipped with everything you need! The owners met us on arrival, gave all explanations and a bonus gift (a bottle of wine)! We got 1 place in closed parking area for a car.
We were very satisfied staying here! Highly recommend this property.
Hotel is really nice, very clean, our room was spacious and comfortable. I was very happy to find a sewing kit in our room as I had made a hole in my snowboard trousers! Food was amazing, delicious breakfasts and dinners, everyday something else, quite a big choice. Hotel stuff very kind and helpful. Great location, practically on the slope. We loved the ski room where we could leave our snowboard equipment to dry.
We stayed in a tree house and it was an exceptional experience. The house was very modern, convenient and cosy with fantastic views. Size is perfect for a 2+2 family. And it's 50 meters from a ski slope. Perfect location. The staff was very friendly. The hotel offers SPA including sauna and tubes with hot and cold water outside, has a game room for kids, serves complimentary hot wine in the afternoon etc.
Very cosy place.. with self-handling wellness facility at the upper floor with no time restriction. Nice and comfortable rooms with balcony. The fireplace defines the place as very warm and friendly establishment where you want to relax even though the weather outside is rainy.
Direct orders and delivery from a standalone pub downstairs with craftbeers and tasty food!
Amazing cozy apartments with 2 bed rooms in perfect localization, just 5 minutes from Lúčky ski lift,
Clean, comfort, it has everything to make your accommodation comfortable. Special thank for sharp knives ;-) (rare case)
literally, there is everything like at home.
I would recommend it to everyone who want to stay in comfort place.
The room was clean and fairly big. Beds were comfy, breakfast was also good. Jasna ski resort is very close! Tip: if you arrive late (after 21.00) - like we did - and would like to have dinner, don't bother trying the nearby restaurants, go straight to Liptovsky Mikulas as the kitchen's of nearby restaurants close at 21.00.
very close to the slope (literally on the slope); great ski storage facility, ski shop in the hotel; nice wellness (12 euro for hotel stayers); nice food (though feels a bit like back to school BUT very tasty and always there was a choice of fish-meat-poultry-veggi). fantastic staff, great coffee and nice bar.
Big and clean room. Quiet room facing the forrest. Parking(free) in front of the hotel/room. Two-three minutes walking to skibus station (12-15 min to Jasna by bus). Exceptional breakfast. Close to a few restaurants. Wellness included (didn't use it). Quick check-in and check-out.
We like everything, but for us that was an extra bonus, that we arrived by an electric car, and they had 2 chargers for free for hotel guests. Skibus service was also really comfortable and we could use it for free on the last day after we checked out.
Great place to stay with kids, located close to many attractions. Quiet and clean room, well equipped kitchen. I liked TV set with YouTube and Netflix connection.
Good parking lot next to hotel. Strong Wi-Fi signal.
Great value for money.
The location of the hotel is great-almost in the end of the valley, right next to the ski lifts.
Hotel is undergoing the renovation, all rooms are done, lobby and restaurant are nice.Corridors still need to be re-done.
amazing place, super nice owner. very close to ski points. 2-3 restaurants walking distance. There is wood available for the chimney which is super cool
