The best location in Valto - ski in and out straight from the ski room. Outside the hotel restaurant when the sun is out is the best place to dine before you get back to the slopes.

It’s a perfect ski resort. Great for skiing and a great night life and food. We particularly enjoyed meeting our friends most days at the Igloo de Val Thorens . The actual igloo is a must see and very friendly English people who speak French. The perfect place for light lunch or just a drink with a great view of the slopes
We loved getting the piste basher in the evening which took us to a restaurant on the slopes
Chalet du lac With a set menu
You need to book in advance asap
Tango is great for a sit down meal or a relaxing pizza with friends on the sofas .
Johns is a great restaurant, you must book as it’s Tinnie and always busy
We did try quite a few restaurants and all the food was great

A ski resort that caters to both experienced and inexperienced skiers (such as myself). The ESF (Ecole du Ski Français) has very experienced and professional instructors. The sheer number of pistes and the pristine conditions are a sight to behold. There are numerous options for après-ski, catering to all tastes and budgets while maintaining an excellent atmosphere. Val Thorens makes you feel secure and at ease.

Hotel is very close to city center (5min walking distance).
The ski resort is immense with many options of activities for non skiers - sled and/or tube tracks, zip line (need to see age and security restrictions).
A good option is also the sports center with many indoor activities including swimming pool, sauna and relaxing wellness options.
City has plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets.

Val Thorens is a very busy resort.
Val Thorens is a very busy resort. There are a lot of beginners and Uni students, making it a popular resort. The slopes closer to the bottom are very busy as a result. But skiing over to Meribel and Courcheval is so easy and is quite a bit quieter.

As any regular skier or snowboarder will know, Val Thorens is one of the highest resorts in the Alps as it's located at 2,300m and therefore a reliable destination if you're looking for snow. It has lots of energy as it's frequented by younger skiers and is good value for money!

Excellent skiing town with a lot of lifts taking skiers up...
Excellent skiing town with a lot of lifts taking skiers up the mountain quickly. It is at a higher elevation comparing to other neighboring skiing towns in Les 3 Valles. It yielded less icy spots on the trails even though we did not have new snow during our stays of 7 days.
We ate at an on-mountain restaurant at the base of VT21 and VT23 lifts. It has sit-down foods or self-service foods. The foods were great, and the ambient was very nice.
There are free in-town shuttles running every 20 minutes. It is very convenient if you need to go from one end of the town to another end. Otherwise it is not difficult to walk. There are many shops and restaurants in the town. Very convenient.
Beautiful sunny smartly renovated modern 35sqm apartment in a traditional large building common in French ski resorts and includes a ski room. Very comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen with full size appliances, and a boot/glove dryer (yay!). A folding chair from the solarium was great for taking-off/putting on boots. Central location in the village. On arrival, we suggest asking Phillippe the very nice property manger to show you exactly how to safely open the bunk beds by only holding the bed frame and not the ladder.
Well set out apartment block with 6 levels and with a nice open central atrium making it feel spacious outside the apartments. We rented an apartment for 6 people ie 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed but only 2 of us staying so plenty of room but would be cramped for 6 people .
Great location for the slopes yet in a relatively quiet part of Val Thorens so suited us perfectly. Still had the necessary shops close by including a good Boulangerie! Plenty of lighting and kitchen quite well equipped.
Would definitely stay here again 😊
The hotel is beautifully designed, The team is wonderful, efficient, pleasant and thoughtful
Very convenient ski in & out and the equipment in the shop was of good quality.
Pauline, with whom we corresponded prior to our arrival was very helpful and helped us secure restaurants, She had excellent tips.
It was also great to be able to schedule massage at the spa in the last minute. Both masseures were very good!
Good location (100m from pistes).
Very good price considering it’s 4 stars in the centre of Val Thorens!
Good continental and cooked breakfasts.
Restaurant looked very nice but a bit fancy, especially when you’re looking for a big carb dinner before a competition. Plenty of other choices nearby though.
Secure ski lockers downstairs and a communal heated boot room by the lobby!
Location is good.
Showers were very good. Always had hot water.
Kitchen appliances were good.
Internet was good all over the apartment
lots of towels
2 full bathrooms for 5 people was very comfortable
Ski in-ski out was excellent
Having washing machine was very nice
Having a supermarket in the same building was a blessing
Perfect location. Threre is a supermarket in the hotel complex. Easy access to the ski locker and to the slopes. Great host, always ready to help. The apartment is small as it is in the description, but it is well – organised. There are heaters with adjustable temperature - the ski clothes dry quickly.
Location of the hotel is so so perfect. Right in the heart of the ski area, so good for ski school drop off and pick-ups, access to lifts to be the first up, access to restaurants. Ski shop in the lobby is also excellent with great brands and range of products. A ski school also in the hotel complex.
Great hotel on the slopes. Amazing ski in/ out particularly for ski school. Breakfast was great and lovely staff. My kids had fun playing in the games room. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We had a great stay and would recommend it.
The location is great.
Supermarket in the same building.
Close to ski schools and equipment shops.
The apartment was better than expected for what we expected, it being so cheap. Good value overall.
Specious room with nice view of the slops, direct access ski in ski out make better ski experiance, staff very helpful. Easy communication through booking chat to book your ski lessons ahead of time.
The location was very conveniently close to the ski shops, grocery stores, and the ski pistes. The apartment was very well equipped and even had a dishwasher, and a fondue pot.
The apartment is excellently located in Val Thorens with ski-in, ski-out right at the building entrance. There are many ski slopes and lifts mostly with blue and red lines.
Great hotel. Great stuff. Great food.
A little far from the center by foot, but if you ask the hotel van will take you to and from any place in ValThorens with a smile.
Amazing location - as ski in, ski out as it gets. The staff were really attentive and helpful, providing great service.
Loved the quirky, family run style to the hotel.
perfect location nice litle hotel clean and well renovated. staff was super helpful and breakfast is better than expected.
