The transfer time from Geneva is longer than the distance...
The transfer time from Geneva is longer than the distance would suggest but the area was great for families - this is not a party area where you are likely to be detained by blaring sounds. The views are great and the area charming. There is a small square where souvenirs can be bought, along with local delicacies. The local supermarket is rather expensive so you may be best to arrive well stocked. That said good shopping is no more than 30 minutes away.

Small village with easy access to La Plagne and Les Arc ski...
Small village with easy access to La Plagne and Les Arc ski fields. It is built over with hotels and units but it still preserved some character. Ther are cable cars and chair lifts, chair lifts do not have lids or heated seats in La Plagne area. Nice blue runs but plenty of off-piste skiing for black runs skiiers up in the basin. Some walking. Price of chair lifts and good deals acceptable. Many eateries and cafes, not too expensive, compared to Val d'Isère, for example.
