WE always try to eat at Araxi when in Whistler - been a favorite dining spot of ours for over 20 years. Spring time in Whistler has walking, hiking, skiing and is less crowded than high season. Nice finishing touch to the our ski year. The views from the top Harmony and Symphony chairs are the best!

Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Our accommodation was clean and good location but lacking in some amenities.
Depending on where you stay it can be quite a walk to the lifts.
If you want a more quiet stay go to the Blackcomb side. However most of the restaurants, shops etc. are in the village.

Over 4 days we enjoyed the convenience of shopping and skiing nearby. A longer time is needed to explore the mountain more and the wide variety of eateries. The opportunity is also available to bike or hike but we did not have sufficient time.

Ski terrain is great, including side- and off-piste, however lift ticket cost is way over the top at CAD 250 per day (compare that to European superresorts like Les Trois Vallees which are 40% the cost).
And the snow quality is unreliable - 23/24 was the worst season even according to the locals, I was just lucky enough to get fresh snow at the start of my week.
Won't be coming back to Whistler as the snow quality is highly unreliable, will go to Utah or Canadian Rockies in the future where the snow is more reliable (and tickets are cheaper) or Europe where it's much cheaper to ski!
Whistler would have to halve the cost of lift tickets for me or my family to come back.

Visited at the end of the season.
Visited at the end of the season. No snow at village level, but there was still powder/snow at the top - 5-10 inches news during our trip. The ticket prices are still way too high, but if you can pre-purchase early in the season, it's not too bad... Due to the season being not too great (snow wise) the owners should reduce ticket prices. Nevertheless, the demand is still high, especially at the weekend. The village supermarkets now offer very reasonably priced items (cheaper than Victoria!) and there are still good value restaurants around the town. The museum's and galleries etc + shops are great for non skiers.

I love the Fairmont; it is a great place to stay.
I love the Fairmont; it is a great place to stay. The short walk from the hotel to El Caminetto restaurant was lit up with large "Christmas deer" assembled to show us the way! A magical place at Christmas time.
Easy book in as the emails received were very simple.
Parking was at our cost but was straight under the Sundial hotel.
Position of suite couldn’t have been more perfect for 4 ladies, 3 that had never been there. Looking straight onto the Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas. I was sad that all gondolas were down for maintenance as that is one of the attractions to the area. I understand that it needs to be done, but one should be open for visitors to the area.
-location was amazing, one minute walk to Blackcomb gondola, Liquor store is right there, shops and restaurants are all very close, whistler village is a 10 min walk, we didn't use our car at all
-hot tubs and pool were awesome
-ski/board rental place was right in the hotel and it was amazing, really good staff and not busy at all even on Family Day Weekend
Amazing experience with Pinnacle hotel in Whistler! Our room was very cozy and convenient, had everything we could ask for and even more - kitchen, fireplace, hot tub. very good location - far enough to be quiet at night and close enough to walk to gondolas with toddlers. Staff is very helpful and friendly! Outdoor pool and hot tub + 32 degrees = one love!
Our room was lovely, with the best shower of our whole month-long trip. The location is unbeatable, especially I'd imagine in ski season. We were visiting in September, but nonetheless, it was within short walking distance of the village. The hotel itself feels very new and contemporary. I would highly recommend a facial at the spa - it was terrific.
Legends was a great location. We ended up driving to the consolation in Whistler Village for a better beginner ski experience for one child. The kids’ space with pool table and nearby movie room was a nice amenity. More shopping options at Creekside would be a nice addition though the market (grocery) was a plus.
It would be hard to find a better location from which to enjoy the delights of Whistler. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. Underground parking was available which is very convenient in winter months. Everything is within easy walking distance from the hotel, including the ski lifts.
The hotel was easily reachable and located right in downtown Whistler with easy access to shops, restaurants and the gondolas. The room was pretty spacious and very clean. Had a good night's sleep on the pullout bed. Overall I would say value for money is pretty good here.
Perfect location, with beautiful views of the mountain. The apartment was well set out for a family and it was the best location to watch the Canada day concert. Parking and entry was easy and it was an easy walk to anywhere in the village.
Great room with lots of space in the middle of village, could walk everywhere. Everything was clean and new. Room had small refrigerator and kettle. If you want to treat yourself the hotel restaurant is best in town
The location was a quick drive to Blackcomb and Whistler Village with Creekside just a little further down the road. We love the space and the house was very comfortable for our Spring Break Ski Vacation!
I came here with my girlfriend to enjoy the Whistler. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the village. Room was nice and clean, workers were very nice. I highly recommend this place.
Great fun had by all 8 of us staying for a few days at the Fairmont. Whistler is pricey. Staying at The Fairmont is a great home base for all that Whistler has to offer.
location - close proximity to conference at fairmont hotel and not too bad distance from village shops. Bed was soft with lots of pillows. kitchenette was functional
