We stayed here on our first night in Austria. The host was wonderful and welcoming. The guesthouse was conveniently located and very pretty, comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful view and a delicious breakfast. My family really enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful town. Golf, hiking, great views. Hotel was great (Hotel Sonne), everything was within walking distance to the hotel. Brand is an absolute gem and if you don't grab a couple days here when going through Austria, you'll miss out considerably. Brand is a charming little village in Voralberg.
Brand is a charming little village in Voralberg. It is easily accessible by car and has a bus service to the nearby city of Bludenz. Hiking in the nearby mountains is a definite must when in Brand. There are very nice restaurents near the ski lifts.

The views all around were fabulous.
The views all around were fabulous. On our previous visit Brand was covered in snow, so it was fantastic to see how green and wooded it was in September. Everyone we met was extremely friendly. We liked the rustic buildings nestled in with more modern. It was a pity the cable car to the lake was out of action.

Brand itself is a nice town with lots of amenities for both local townspeople as well as tourists. The jewel in the crown is lunersee. Although it is manmade, it does not take away the beauty of a stunning lake surrounded by mountains. For me it was my favourite spot in the whole of our holiday through Germany and Austria. We enjoyed the stay in this appartement a lot as we also had nice outdoor terace with beautiful view on the mountains. The position of hotel is directly at as the cableway. I really recommend to stay here as you will not find anything close to this accomodation it this price range.
