Very nice remote location not far from Imst and various ski resorts. It is a nice traditional landeshaus with beautiful surroundings outside of any town/villge.. There was a floor heating, so no problem with being warm.. Water was also hot enough (not always the rule in Austria for both of these things). The facilities were clean, the kitchenette and the amenities were as advertised, microwave oven was outside the apartment as it would not fit into the kitchen so no problem with that as well. Very good for that value.

If you want to get away, make your way here! The drive is to die for, the food was excellent, local attractions were unforgettable. There are two donkeys down the road, stop and they will come running to you to say high. It was the highlight of our stay.

We spent our Honeymoon in Obsteig which we had enjoyed very much. On our 50th Anniversary this year we could not have celebrated any better. Restaurants around our hotel were O.K. But surrounding more than made up! I did not go for Hikes, but noticed a lot of people were going about and wish I could have done the same, as I did not come prepared. Car would have been VERY HANDY. I certainly hope to come back.....

Tiny village, although difficult to find without GPS, as it looks to be located only on Wirtschafts Wege, narrow one lane farm roads. Quiet, on sunny side of the valley, good fresh air, nice well kept, very clean facility. Bathroom very clean, shower was Very large, probably 120x120 with floor heat. Our room was also very large, lovely balcony, great view. Good buffet breakfast. For us a stop on our journey to other parts of Austria. We like this place and will stop there next trip if available.

Additionally, we were delighted to discover free standard bikes (the e-bikes have a charge), while delicious apples were available for everyone through the hotel. In one of the days we were able to take the children on a 2-hour pony ride through the woods, also free of charge. Pension Alpina offered an A le Carte restaurant service for the dinner and a very good breakfast was included in the room price. We enjoyed our say for 17 nights at Pension Alpina a lot and will be happy to have another stay at another time.
