Good place for relax from crowds of people. Good for hiking and cycling. Good restaurant and bakery. A bit isolated - it takes a few minutes by car to get to a bigger shop or a city. Just what we wanted :-)

We had lovely stay in Sankt Leonhard.
We had lovely stay in Sankt Leonhard. We did a big hike on Saturday and on Sunday we took the cable car up to the lake. The views both days were incredible, it's a beautiful area. I especially loved the cows, horses, and donkeys at the top of the first hike we did (unsure of the route name but it starts near to alpenhof hotel and goes to three alm huts) It's very difficult to get lost as there is one road going through the valley, but it also has busses, unfortunately they only go until 8pm but we were lucky to stay in a lovely hotel with a nice restaurant and bar.

Pitztaler Gletcher is a very nice skiing resort, especially for the families. It provides opportunities for having fun for both beginners and advaced skiers. It provides a lot of opportunities for apres ski activities mainly in Mandarfen. There are several opportunities for going to eat in most of the bigger villages in the Pitztal valley. There are also opportunites for sauna, wellness etc. in bigger hotels/resorts.

Breakfast was good, with a good selection. For dinner it might have been nice having some more dishes to choose from, but we did always find something we liked and the food was good. We will definitely consider going to this hotel for our next skiing trip. The large swimming pool was also a very good, our kids loved it!
