We arrived by train and stayed overnight on Super bowl Sunday. Nothing was open for food on Sun night or Monday morning within walking distance, even though Google listed the restaurants as open. We had to place a delivery order that took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive and it came cold.

Had an overnight stay for various early-morning appointments at the WRJ VA Hospital (we live 1:45 mins away) We stayed at the Coolidge Hotel. Very charming and very comfortable. We ate dinner at the Elixir Restaurant. Should have a higher rating! Excellent food. OUTSTANDING server (Tony). He has it together and his recommendations were spot on.

Room heating and cooling unit made a horrible noise, turned it off. Room got too warm. Toilets would not flush properly. Passed on breakfast, just not appealing. Not up to the Hampton Inn standard you expect when booking this location. Front desk although pleasant did nothing regarding the 100% guarantee of satisfaction. Gave us 500 points as compensation.

We stayed for 2 days.
We stayed for 2 days. We visited the Quechee River Gorge and the surrounding shops. We toured Woodstock and stopped in for a Maple Creamee ice cream. We toured both Billings Farm (highly recommend) and also visited Sugarbush Farm. Two days was perfect.

No security at front lobby and there was a shooting there in the morning. A man came in without security and hung around until the morning hours and then shot a guest a few doors down from us. The front desk provided incorrect information about the situation. Parking was sparse and not well lit.

Room smelled stale and musty. Ac put off odor.
Room smelled stale and musty. Ac put off odor. Ran ac the entire time was there, room did not get below 74. Was one of the hottest days of summer. Would have been more comfortable at home in non smelly ac that actually worker. Stains all over green couch. Water pressure from shower head was awful. Neither of us have allergies and woke up severely congested and stuffy. I assume ac filter hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. TV guide channel was blank, No information loaded to say what was playing on what channels. Will not return to this hotel.

This hotel is not brand new, but looks like new, nice modern design of the rooms and bathroom. Large room with compartments for kitchen and sofa area. We had room on 4-th floor with high ceiling, attic style with small extra sofa and roof window, so we can see the sky! Location close to the road but very green and quite with beautiful window view. Very clean, personal nice and friendly. We would love to come back in fall!
The hotel was the cheapest in the area for the weekend - still was pretty expensive. Employees were nice and helpful but bathrooms are old and not clean. The rest of the room was comfortable. Beware that we hear the noises around from everyone getting in and out of their rooms and talking outside. A plus: white river is a really nice small towns with lots of great restaurants around!
very little time has gone into freshening up this hotel - I liked that is was easy to find on google maps and that is was part way to our destination in Maine by the ocean - Staff at front desk did not smile once - this gives a poor impression already. I also liked that there was a Dunkin Donuts at the bottom of the hill at the entrance so we could get a snack
The hotel was charming, and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. The coffee/tea/ water available in the lobby all day was a nice touch. The room, closet, and bathroom were very clean and very spacious. Also, having a free place to park was very helpful. All in all, it was a really great experience.
We were quite relieved and pleased with our room. Bed very comfortable, shower very good. Should have a hook for towels near the sink. After reading a number of negative reviews about cleanliness of room, we were worried- but room was cleaned appropriately.
Very nice staff, good price and great location! I am a step on tour guide and this hotel allows me to get there early the next morning and start the tour. Room was comfortable clean and warm.
We did not eat breakfast. We actually parked right in front of the Hotel Coolidge. They have parking in the rear but we were there on a Saturday night so they allowed us to park in front.
Excellent hotel after a day-tour by Vermont, quiet and huge room with kitchenette. Convenient price in the region. Our group have a good time at night meeting
Check-in was fast, staff courteous. The room was quite and the beds comfortable. Parking was free and easy. The hotel is accessible from both 89 and 91.
