Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live.
Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live. There is no other reason for us to visit there other than to visit our son, his wife, and baby. Would not recommend visiting otherwise. WAY too expensive.

The room was dark and could have used repairs.
The room was dark and could have used repairs. The baseboard was coming off near the window. The a/c was blowing fan air only. The breakfast was ok, but the items were not being replenished. The breakfast worker spoke no English. Beds were clean, front desk clerk was pleasant.

Room very scarcely furnished.
Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

Actually, I was just passing through.
Actually, I was just passing through. I might have stayed longer, but rain and snow were forecast ahead on my route. By making this a sleep-and-go I was able to enjoy the drive on east with no weather worries.

The Ogden area is beautiful.
The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food.
It was fairly easy for us to get around Ogden since we lived there for 16 years and come back to visit family whenever we can.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible.
This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The manager on staff, Nicolas ,was very rude, unhelpful and frankly disgusting. The staff is very poorly trained.
Room was nice & comfortable. Everything was operational and clean. Just know that it is a bit of an older hotel, but it was all good because it was clean! Breakfast was offered and really wanted to partake, however due to my timeline it wasn't possible. Sure did smell good though as I was running out the door. Next time! Also, I was pleasantly surprised to have a fully functional universal workout machine in the fitness room. Got in a good hour workout! Fitness room is located right next to the indoor pool! Nice.
Breakfast was one of the best we've had in our travels. A great selection of fruit, yogurt, cereals, hot pancakes, toast, cheese omelet sausage. Tables were always clean, food stations, neat, well organized. This is a great location to the historical portion of Ogden. Night time, streets are popping! Great selection of restaurants. Front desk - didn't matter what time you arrived, was always met with a friendly face. Front lobby has a nice selection of canned drinks and sweet candies and munchies!
We often stay at Comfort Inn or Super 8 but this hotel was exceptional for the price. The room was clean, the hallways were clean, the breakfast, while standard fare for a hot breakfast, was plentiful, hot and easy to serve. Everything was well organized and clean considering people were serving themselves. The check-in clerk was extremely nice and helpful. A lot of people had dogs but everything was quiet and there was ample space around the property to walk the dogs
This hotel is an absolute dump. The rooms are in disrepair, it smells, is dirty and I can’t believe it’s allowed to carry the flag. Holiday Inn Express isn’t expected to be four diamond, but it should stand on its own for being a reliable value in a clean and comfortable (enough) room. Seriously disturbing!
Due to the location, I felt safe as the hotel is tucked away by itself. Location is close to restaurants and shopping. I was pleasantly surprised that the room included a fridge and microwave, although I didnt use either. The room was a decent size for price.
Stunning location set next the the Ogden River under imposing mountains.
Staff super friendly and other than a missed cleaning service for the room they were great.
We were there for skiing which was only 20 mins away through gorgeous countryside.
I stayed overnight for the Ogden Marathon. I needed an affordable place relatively close to where the race started and this was great. Location was awesome. My room was right by the door so it was easy for me to get to and from.
The cheapest stay in Ogden with all the amenities we were looking for: microwave, refrigerator, breakfast included. This place is totally fine for a quick rest while on the road and on a budget!
Nice spacious room. If you are staying for awhile this is a great place. Well equipped kitchen and lots of counter space. Best equipped and spacious gym I have seen at a hotel.
The heating did not work in both rooms. We had to sleep with our jackets on. The hotel staff says they sometimes have issues with it. Never had such a bad experience before!
Everything was great! The view from the room was spectacular. The room was extremely clean. The room was large and very accommodating. I would rate this hotel as 10/10.
