We were there to see the school. It was great.
We were there to see the school. It was great. Surrounding area nice, interesting non-chain options for dining, which we appreciated. Weird that a main street runs right through the middle of campus, but enjoyed and would like to go back to Boone. It snowed on 5 April!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

We've been to this area a couple of times over the years, and tend to go back as we really like the area. It is close to an entrance for the Blue Ridge Parkway, with an overlook just a few minutes down the road. The restaurants are good, but Dan'l Boone Inn is an absolute must every time we are in the area. There are plenty of small hiking trails, and waterfalls, to see.AAnonymous - 6.0Scored 6.0
There isn't much to review.
There isn't much to review. I made a reservation at the Holiday Inn because they had an indoor pool, and brought a 12-year old up so we could swim and have a good time. However, when we arrived, the hotel said the pool was 'under maintenance' and not available. A wasted 2.5 hour trip.

Boone is a great town.
Boone is a great town. Clean, orderly, with plenty facilities, hotels, restaurants, good roads and friendly people. But terrible traffic too many cars and aggressive drivers. Beautiful area, best kept secret in NC. I love Boone, Blowing Rock, GF mountain, Tweetsee rr and small towns. Great environment.

This trip might not be the best for a review because it rained the entire trip. With that being said we did enjoy our stay. Everyone in the town was nice and welcoming. The views thru the fog was wonderful. A lot of shops around and plenty of places to eat. Bad thing every time you go somewhere you have to pay for parking. We had to pay for parking to eat dinner? Who does that? So we felt we had to rush thru our meal. We would and will do it all again. Thank you Boone. Beautiful restful place.AAnonymous

The property was immaculate and updated! Even my teenager was impressed! The rooms were spacious and beds were incredibly comfortable! The complimentary breakfast was great! Centrally located near an abundance of restaurants and stores. Close distance to downtown Boone. Plenty of parking and check in was a breeze! Staff was incredibly present and helpful with any questions or issues that we had.

We used the hot tub and pool table, watched movies at night, and had family game nights at the large kitchen table. The house was up a hill but close to Boone's main street, so there were a lot of restaurant options and shopping for whatever we needed.
