Cute antique and vintage shops on the main strip.
Cute antique and vintage shops on the main strip. Along with delicious spots to eat. Would venture out to a few neighboring towns if you'd like to do a bit more. Our group was more focused on cozying up in the house - so it was a perfect mix of the two.

The house dates back to the 19th century, is beautifully furnished and very quiet. Having a rest on the big porch while overlooking the valley is a real treat. My room (Lavender) was a little small but for me, traveling alone, very convenient. The breakfast at the big table in the breakfast room is freshly made and a very good start into the day.

The spacious house with comfy beds, a lovely fireplace, amazing showers (tub & sauna too!), a well-appointed kitchen, giant finished basement entertainment area, view from the front porch, the well-kept grounds, zip line in the back, and the beautiful stream with waterfall! It was so nice to be close to downtown Margaretville and not too far from family in Halcottsville. The grandkids wanted to move in permanently 😃LaurieUnited States of America
