Gem of a hotel. I am a former resident of the area and have worked for major hotel chains as well as stayed at many (sometimes for many months at a time). I am fully aware of other hotels in the area and their value. This hotel is great for the repeat buisness traveler as well as anyone new visiting the area. Great value for the cost.I come to the area once a month and not wanting to impose myself on others, I now found a clean, safe and comfortable place to stay.

Nature in the area is beautiful, with great hikes and activities, like a u-peak farm and the walking bridge. There is a good supermarket and drug stores very close (by car), so we had everything we needed. The city looked very pretty although we didn't stop to enjoy it because of self-distancing. If you don't have something there are several other cities to visit.
The room was fine; it was clean, there were plenty of towels, an iron and an ironing board, a hair dryer, coffee maker, and the king bed was comfortable. There were vending machines for drinks and snacks and an ice maker near the lobby. The hotel was very close to the Apple Green Golf Course where we were attending a wedding so the location was convenient. The staff were accommodating to our special request, which we appreciated. I would stay here again.
Everything! Breakfast is phenomenal, a great way to start the day! The inn keepers (especially Brittany) are very accommodating. The facility is comfortable, clean and homey. We loved the time spent there, so much we cut short a couple of day trips to spend more time in the grand room and deck. Rooms are wonderful! Close proximity to Walkway Over the Hudson and the Hudson Valley Rail Trail.
Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was good size and fixtures were all modern. Breakfast was continental (muffins, cereal, juice, fruit cups). Dining area was pleasant and clean, and the small menu met our limited needs. Property is well-maintained, and location in Highland is very convenient to all regional sights.
Clean, comfortable apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Great location: quiet neighborhood 5-10 minutes drive to New Paltz. Beautiful big backyard. Easy check-in/check out. It's a nice place to stay at, if you want to hike in Minnewaska.
Great location to other small towns in the area with many restaurants and local wine trail. Very near Walk over the Hudson and Poughkeepsie. Room was big enough for a king size bed and a sofa.
