Bozeman is a beautiful bit of history, western culture, good food, and tremendous entertainment. Since the pandemic, the influx of tourists and new residents has hit the resources hard. Prices have dramatically increased and there is a "wait time" for most products and services. Montana is my home, and I am sensitive to the challenges for long-term residents of Bozeman. There is nothing more beautiful however in terms of Mother Nature's handiwork.

Bozeman city is growing very fast.
Bozeman city is growing very fast. Spreading westerly, new homes and wide open skies....University town. I was led to believe the average age of all residents was 36 yrs. Wonderful research programs for vulcanism, geology, ancient artifacts and, animal's living in all the Yellowstone greater area, as well as great museums. Much flyfishing, much history of the West, good and bad...
Negatives are housing has become too expensive for folks working there all year round. Affordable housing is being constructed, but may need more.

Bozeman is a fun little western town, doable in an afternoon. We stayed just outside of town and in addition to exploring Bozeman's shops and cafes, we visited local attractions such as the Museum of the Rockies (FABULOUS!) and the Madison Buffalo Leap (A MUST-DO). And we did some star-gazing on a brilliant clear night from Hyalite Canyon.
This was a great way to start our two-week trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park.

Bozeman is a clean, safe place to visit with a nice Main Street area for shopping, dining, and plenty of bars. The city itself is nice, but I thought Bozeman and especially Big Sky were overpriced. Roughly 60-90 minute drive to Yellowstone. Big Sky restaurants absolute robbery. 100 dollars for a steak at many restaurants. In Montana???

We just stopped into Bozeman as a gateway to Yellowstone.
We just stopped into Bozeman as a gateway to Yellowstone. It was a good place to stock up on essentials (such as bear spray and snacks). Bozeman Hot Springs was a great place to unwind after a day of travel.
We were at the end of our ski trip to Big Sky and wanted to spend a few days in Bozeman after skiing. One of us had had an injury while skiing which resulted in a trip to the emergency room. The staff was supportive, compassionate, and eagerly offered to help us in any way possible. They moved us into a first floor room to accommodate the ski injury, provided extra hotel room supplies, etc. Thank you to the Lark staff for making our difficult situation so much better. Looking forward to traveling back to Bozeman!
We booked last minute after the accommodation our company booked had fallen through and the staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and varied, there were luggage carts available and parking right outside. There is a restaurant within walking distance although the hotel is relatively centrally located to the main high street in Bozeman. Would gladly stay here again.
Easy drive, few minutes from Bozeman airport. Plenty free parking. We had two queen room, beds were super comfortable (most important thing for me when travelling). McD's next door. Lots of amenities in bathroom. Blackout curtains. Coffee, hairdryer. Delicious plentiful breakfast. Convenient for Bozeman town, Museum of the Rockies and other tourist places. We would definitely stay here again 10/10.
This was an excellent value and a terrific place to stay for one night. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. The staff was friendly. The hotel was a fthree or four blocks from Main St in Downtown Bozeman. I highly recommend staying here for skiing and visiting.
Very friendly staff and they welcome pets no extra fees. It right off the freeway so there’s that. Some food nearby. Five minutes from downtown by drive. Great to crash at after a show of your coming from out of town. The room was clean.
Truely a value stop for us. We spent time in a 2nd location that same weekend in Bozeman, and the contrast was striking. Quality Inn was roomier, a good, cooked breakfast, friendly and engaging staff. No buyer's remorse from this hotel!
RSVP Hotel has impeccable retro style and a cool vibe - it is located close to downtown and has its own cafe open all day. We loved the style of the place and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
Check-in was easy even with our late night arrival, room was comfortable and clean, the hotel was an easy and quick drive from the airport and close to everything we wanted to do in Bozeman, breakfast variety was great
The location. The motel is in Bozeman, only about 10 minutes with traffic from campus and downtown. Close to the highway. There was also a nice view of the Bridgers. Those were the only positives of our stay.
I just really like this hotel. I'm a parent of MSU students and this is great for that. Just coming into Bozeman to have a place to settle in and then do things with my kids.
The location was great. It was downtown and an easy walk to multiple restaurants. I had to leave early so didn't get to eat breakfast. The value was good.
