Lots of options clustered in canal park so it's walkable, rich history and Baytown culture. Sun worshipers and leafers beware, the low elevation and Lakeshore means more overcast days and later peak colors than the surrounding areas. Plan accordingly.

I would not visit Duluth again.
I would not visit Duluth again. Although interesting sites available to see. I found Duluth to be congested with traffic. The streets dont make sense. Hard to get to the tourist stops. The city just didn't make any sense how u get into Duluth at the start.

Duluth is a wonderful place to visit.
Duluth is a wonderful place to visit. They have things to do for families, friends, short or long visits. Must visit Canal Park, Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, Miller Mall and Rose Garden. Lots of restaurants, Fitzer, Grandma's and Perkins too. Talking walks along the shore, skipping rocks or just enjoying the fresh air will help you sleep better. The kids will love the water, trains and a visit to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls.

We enjoyed Canal Park , Glensheen, and eating at Clyde's Iron Works and Grandma's. We drove along the North Shore to Gooseberry Falls and ate at Betty's Pies. Would recommend all of these, but not when the Canadian fire smoke is so dense you can hardly see the lake! Getting around was easy but don't follow Mapquest directions!
We absolutely loved this property. We chose it for proximity to the lift bridge, and the view was amazing. In our one-night stay, we saw 5 oar boats come in. The hotel even offers a late night phone call if guests would like to see the ships that come in overnight. All members of staff were hospitable, professional, friendly and helpful.
We had an Executive Suite with fireplace, which was really cozy. The bedding was like sleeping in a cloud.
If ever we go back to Duluth, this is where we'll stay.
The hotel is a renovated old warehouse. This turn on the century all concrete structure is really cool and very quiet. I'm sure the uniqueness of the building made room design a challenge. Our suite had a kitchen, couch and bedroom. The TV in the living are was on the wall 90 degrees from the couch, ad the couch was 1 foot from that wall. The same in the bedroom. Good thing we had things planned in Duluth and didn't watch TV. We had it on for morning news, that was about it. The breakfast is incredible.
Location and parking are perfect. The breakfast was very good but wish they had hot chocolate, Duluth is always a little chilly at nite. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We have stayed there several times. Wish it was a lower price, but compared to the other hotels it was more reasonable. Its great to have the brewery next door with good food and drinks.
Room was large and modern, very quiet.. Awesome view! Walkout to beautiful grounds with lots of fireside seating areas to view harbor, boats, ships, and bridges. Good restaurant on-site. Walking distance to Canal Park via Lake Walk. To-go breakfast was wonderful! Dog friendly resort. Nice indoor pool and large outside hot tub with easy access from room"s patio.
Breakfast was great, I really like scrambled eggs. I like the location it's my favorite place, quiet area. I like the evening cock tail bar, makes it relaxing. I liked the TV because it was very user friendly. I liked that they provided a smoking area with tables chairs and flowers in a sunny spot.
It's a decent place to stay. Free breakfast, average hotel rooms, parking. Right next door to a nice gas station. Not too far from down town for a drive. Kind of in a quiet area off the main road going down into Duluth.
Great location!! within walking distance to Canal park. the breakfast was awesome as well as the views. I am defiantly going to stay here the next time we are in Duluth. I can't say enough good about his place.
Close to hospital…We priced out other hotels in the area there were some serious price gouging going on in Duluth Minnesota almost $300 for a room it was terrible, the Days Inn what is the least expensive.
We booked this hotel last minute while we were traveling through Duluth and wanted an inexpensive hotel with easy access to the highway. This warm, clean, quiet, friendly place exceeded our expectations!
Loved the location near Canal Park and downtown. The hotel was well decorated and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also received good service at the restaurant upstairs. Love that there is a pool.
The Canal Park location is excellent for visiting many popular tourist destinations in Duluth. We just walked from the hotel for the places we wanted to visit.
