It had a beautiful checkin lounge that overlooked the indoor pool that overlooked the mountains. Our condo was very well decorated, cozy with a fireplace, and very well cleaned. It was very comfortable and felt homey on a cool autumn stay. We ate at a nearby resort in one of their restaurants. I would had made reservations to eat dinner if I knew it would had been hard to find food without driving a ways.

It was easy to get to the resort. Check in/out was simple. the room was spacious and homey. the staff was friendly and helpful. the movie theater was like a commercial one. The game room was a lot of fun. The area has great stores, diners, restaurants, museums and parks to visit.

My family has been visiting the Hancock area multiple times a year for the past twenty years. Hancock offers something for every season. Our favorite family spot is Ioka Valley Farm and Mount Greylock Bascom Lodge. Other places to visit in the area are MassMOCA, Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, Marble Quarry in Adams, The Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, Tanglewood, Norman Rockwell Museum, The Red Lion In, Barrington Brewery, Butternut Ski Resort, and so much more.

Hancock is far from the theaters that we visited in Lenox, Pittsfield, and points south. But it is more scenic to stay in than the the lower sections of the Berkshire area, and has quicker access to Williams College, the Clark Museum, North Adams and its museum and other attractions and Mt. Greylock. If you don't mind the extra 1/2 hour to 1 hour driving each day, it's certainly more scenic.

Had to travel some distance to reach a grocery store.
Had to travel some distance to reach a grocery store. There were a few dining options. Very limited at the resort. Disappointed that we got to the one restaurant supposedly open and we were turned away, being told the kitchen was closed. The Hotel Staff had told us different hours. It appears that some local restaurant had closed possibly because they could not stay in business. When we found a grocery store in an adjacent town about 15 minutes away - we went first to a Walmart and were shocked to see nearly empty food shelves. Really strange! Never experienced this. At the other end of the shopping center was another very nice grocery store.
The room wasn’t bad @ all. We only stayed one night, so we really didn’t have much use for the kitchen facility but it was nice & the room was decent. The bed was nice…..sheets were more comfortable in the four other hotels we stayed in prior but they were still fine (I had a good nights sleep). The country store was the best part of the whole resort….it was cute & had a variety of things.
Apartment with a small kitchenette worked quite well for us. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Please note that this is not your typical hotel, but a series of apartment buildings (condos) managed centrally. It's a very short drive from the Jiminy Peak resort.
location was good, close to nearby attractions, hotel included pool, hottub, basketball, tennis, firepits and grills.
I liked that they serve hot coffee in the morning
There is a nearby convenient store for basic needs
Room was a one bedroom suite, great value compared to anything else I saw in the area. Beautiful surrounding area, very pleasant staff. The nearby market was handy to have, and made great b-fast sandwiches.
Accommodations were clean, roomy and tasteful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Speciation the full kitchen. Took last minute reservation when another hotel canceled at check in. Beautiful location.
Clean and reasonably well-equipped, though a bit dated. It’s centrally located but not really near anything. Frankly, however, it seemed far better than a lot of somewhat seedy motels in the area.
Big, well furnished rooms, great staff, located at the foot of Jimmy Peak ski area. We enjoyed the location for nearby hikes and sampled several good restaurants nearby!
