This is a hopping place!
This is a hopping place! We were there during a busking festival that was fabulous. We ate in the middle of the street so were serenaded the whole meal. Lots of restaurant options, book stores, clothing etc

A peaceful respite from the fast pace of life.
A peaceful respite from the fast pace of life. Excellent restaurants in Great Barrington and Berkshire region. I recommend Rio Cafe for breakfast, Najis for dinner and Patisserie Lenox for a tasty snack. Don't miss Monument Mountain for breathtaking views. Most things to do and see are off Rte 7 which takes you from town to town in the Berkshires. Explore and have fun!

For the price the amenities were paltry.
For the price the amenities were paltry. That you have to drive back.out to get water etc. because there is no small store or vending machines leaves a bad taste.
Breakfast time did not adjust for a Sunday morning.
The price of the room was for 3 star the amenities were 1star

Lovely New England town in the Berkshires.
Lovely New England town in the Berkshires. Compact downtown surrounded by mountains. Access to many hiking paths including portions of Appalachian Trail. I enjoyed shopping at the thrift stores in town. Town makes good base for exploring rest of the Berkshires.

A truly special Bed and Breakfast Guest house. The common rooms are so comfortable, including some very nice outdoor spaces. Our room was perfect for a two night stay, so clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Terry and Terri are delightful, served an excellent breakfast, and gave us great recommendations for dining and hikes. We loved the special touch of record players in all rooms and a good LP selection- we listened to some old favorites both in our room and out on the covered porch. Highly recommended!
Great hotel in a lovely town. Very large room, with comfortable bed and clean and smelling good bedding. Large shower and plenty of cosy towels. Provide soap, shampoo and everything you need. We stayed for one night on the way north. The receptionist was very nice, and recommended us a Crowe café when we were looking for. The hotel has a heated pool and jacuzzi that made our evening unforgettable. There is also a gym not big but perfectly adequate. The check-in and check-out process were quick and accommodating. Great value for the price.
This is my third time staying at Monument Mountain Motel. It is a "No Frills" Motel. The beds are very comfortable. The location is very good, it's close to the center of Main Street in Great Barrington. If you want a quiet place to sleep at a very low price with great value, this is where you should stay. The bathrooms are somewhat newly renovated. Parking is right in front of your unit. They still have keys to open your door. No key cards.
Lovely house, great location. The space is very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The architecture is beautiful - modern with plenty of light. Nice big yard in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes' drive from Great Barrington center. If you drive a Tesla, there's a supercharging station a couple miles away at the Big Y supermarket.
The tent was in a lovely private location. Easy access from parking area. There was an electric cord in the tent for our use. Host made their private swimming pool available to us. Host even texted us that they did not have a guest that eve and we could stay and enjoy the property until 5pm. Fun, lovely. Highly recommend
We only used the hotel as we were passing through having spent time in Stockbridge.
The hotel was nice and clean and quiet.
Although it was at the end of the retail area, it was still easy to get to and within easy distance of everything you would need.
The staff were friendly and helpful
Breakfast was good. They offered a good selection of foods. Probably the first hotel that offers good quality tea as a beverage option.
The hotel has a fire pit. S'Mores kits are available upon request.
Quiet and comfortable, yet accessible to Great Barrington and Lenox.
Perfect location right in Great Barrington. Walking distance to everything. The motel was very clean. Hot coffee and tea available all day/night. Fresh make your own waffles for breakfast. Toast, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs and sausage and fruit cups. Juice also available.
Pleasant staff, simple, clean accommodations. Keurig coffee in the office and excellent restaurant directly across the street. No frills, just good simple necessities at a more affordable price than the bigger hotels.
Both mornings we had breakfast at the Wainwright Inn the meals were delicious. Everything was fresh including herbs from the garden and presented in a lovely manner.
The property was impacted by Covid. The hotel did the best that they could to manage through. The food was fine and the hostess/cook was very pleasant and helpful.
Spacious & warm home, especially the family room. Very quiet area. Super close to Butternut & all family needs. Host was very responsive. Would stay again.
Location (within a short walk are trails in the woods) ; slightly set back from Rt 7 so noise was not too bad; Restaurant nearby; bar size refrigerator
Spacious room with peaceful view. Loved the retro feel. Friendly breakfast. Good quiet location between Great Barrington and Stockbridge in the country.
