Leadville is a quirky, old town with some good food options. For Copper Mtn skiers (with snow tires) looking for affordable lodging, it's worth ur consideration. Super convenient to Ski Cooper (10 min or so)

Very nice wild-western town. Lots of flair, many trhings to discover, old buildings, old shops, good restaurands and a interesting landscape. Lots of history which you can feel and discover everywhere. Snow-mobile tours available nex by. High mountains above 4000 m also next-by. Prevent peak-season. Enjoy !

For such a popular destination, Leadville doesn't have much for restaurants or lodging. We did eat at Tennessee Pass Cafe and thought they were super friendly and welcoming and the food was great.

Interesting place but there are just too many mentally ill shopkeepers who have to advertise it. One shop had a large professionally made sign in their front window angrily denouncing the Supreme Court with extremely explicit and offensive language--sure am glad I don't have young children.

Pricey location, modest rooms with comfy bed.
Pricey location, modest rooms with comfy bed. The place would definitely need some facelifting/renovation. Get the ice machine fixed. Do not choose this place if you want to have breakfast included. The place had coffee, 2 types of juices and waffels. We checked out hungry.

Leadville has an old town feel with a good variety of restaurants in price and quality. Nice selection of museums, I really learned a lot at the Jewish museum. The drive to Twin lakes and Independence Pass was great.
Even though there was an issue at checkin. The guy did his best to correct the situation. It was during renovations and our room was very clean. The bottom level was more cold and the heater kept going on and off all night. I have noticed more that I need ear plugs in hotels and could hear a lot. I am a light sleeper and had to put ear plugs in due to the noise in the hallway. Friendly and clean. We would stay here again. The tubing hill is across the street. Next time we will have to go there. Leavdville people are super nice and welcoming.
The Zinnia is a charming Victorian house that has been nicely modernized, comfortable and well appointed while retaining its historical aspects. The location is perfect - near the businesses, restaurants and interesting places to visit in Leadville, but distant enough from the main street to be a quiet place to stay. Leadville is in a beautiful setting with magnificent mountain vistas and lush valleys, and was a welcome get-away from the high temperatures of summer at home!
This was a very clean, pleasant hotel. The room and common areas were all in very good condition and we really enjoyed the mountain views from the room (especially sunrise/sunset). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were little touches that made the hotel stand out from your run of the mill chain; the headboards on the beds appeared to be custom made with columbines carved into the wood, and the breakfast area had maps of Poland and Europe.
Cozy hostel in good location in walking distance to the center of Leadville. Ideal for everyone enjoying the outdoors. Very clean, very well organized, everything is being explained in detail. Parking available free of charge. Free coffee in the morning. Stayed in a single room with no windows, which was ok for just one night. Shared bathrooms can be somewhat busy. Happy to come back when in the region.
This was a very cute rental property just walking distance from main street Leadville and nice park! The hosts were very communicative and responsive, which made checking in and out a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and kitchen utensils (including coffee and coffee maker!) which made cooking at home easy.
The room was clean and comfortable, and what I expected from a budget hotel. I appreciate the in-room refrigerator and microwave. The heater works well; the room heated up quickly after I came back from my run soaking and cold. The location is perfect if you're coming to Leadville to use the trail system.
An overnight stay at the hotel provided what we essentially needed. A bed, shower, warm room at a reasonable price. The breakfast was basic cereals, coffee and pastries. It was a nice hotel, nice helpful staff, and clean accommodations.
The bed was very comfortable and columbine did a great job serving there breakfast. We got a great view and the location was amazing for what we needed. Overall the experience was great and I would absolutely recommend the hotel.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. It was a nice change to have some books to read from the hotel library. There is plenty of parking and it was quiet.
Great location for climbing Mount Elbert and Mount Massive. Easy drive to Leadville and Twin Lakes. Property was clean. Enjoyed the array of books to read.
