I'm still livid that the management would choose to subject guests to FOX news propaganda while visiting the lobby while checking in and eating breakfast. All those supporting the former treasonous insurrectionist lying criminal traitor do not belong in the hospitality industry.
I'm extremely offended.

Great town where real people live and work, not like the resort towns of Beaver Creek and Vail. We stayed as a mini-break during a longer ski vacation. The hot springs are a brilliant way to relax and enjoy the winter sunshine. Expensive to get in at $32, plus another $8 for a towel rental (Probably cheaper to buy one at Walmart!), but you can come & go all day if you wish. The vapour caves are quieter & more serene with a sad history of the white folks displacing the native Americans. You probably need to book in advance as they need to limit entrants to the caves - $20 for 2hr stay, including a towel!
Plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in town, all within walking distance. Easy drive to Glenwood Springs as the I70 (and railway line) go right through the middle.

Room was very small, smelled like mildew, air conditioner didn’t work, breakfast was horrible, beds were very old and hard and slanted towards the edges of the bed. The hot springs pool was wonderful and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

Should not be charging for open lot parking.
Should not be charging for open lot parking. Should offer at least a continental breakfast. Way too many additional add-on charges. 15% tax in Glenwood Springs (?). The room charge per night apparently, as I was told, varies according to hotel bookings. We were there off season. Room service, minimal clean towels, emptying trash, only occurs after a 2 night stay Really? The staff was the best. Attentive and friendly.

Lovely hotel, centrally located.
Lovely hotel, centrally located. Room had all the facilities one could need. Breakfast was included and was very good. Despite being central and directly on a busy road it was surprisingly quiet.
Highly recommended if in the area or having a session in the Hot Springs!

We chose this based on it being an ascend property but for the money we paid it was disappointing. The hotel is pretty generic and no frill. Breakfast was extremely meh, the front desk seemed disinterested, and the overall experience was unremarkable. We stayed at another property the next day that was much more service oriented. None of the properties in glenwood are amazing short of the hotel Denver or the hotel Colorado so next time I’ll choose one where the price matches the level of service.
The room we received had three (3!) queen beds in it! I was traveling with 3 teenagers and this made it easy for us all to be in 1 room. The kids LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the shower. Our trip was to go to Glenwood Springs Adventure Park and this hotel was WALKING DISTANCE to it! The staff was wonderful and so kind! Breakfast was free (another plus!) and the staff in the breakfast area was very helpful. Would stay here again.
Room, bathroom, fridge and microwave were super clean. All the things I wanted to do were in Glenwood Springs itself and I didn't need uber at all. I walked everywhere or used the local bus (Rode Glenwood, which is free) that stops opposite the hotel. The location is super convenient. The staff at reception were super kind and accommodating to the requests I had.
Colorado room at front really great -- decor and views. Felt quite special. Worth upgrade cost. Hotel's proximity to so many great restaurants is massive plus. Glenwood Springs restaurant row is quite something. It's an easy and pleasant walk across the pedestrian bridge to the hot springs side of town. I walked to Yampah Spa quite easily and loved it.
Breakfast was great! Eggs, potatoes, sausage, chili, biscuits n gravy, waffles, french toast, hot, cold cereals, juice, bagels, the works! Also the room was clean and hotel is updated and pleasant. Walking distance to hot springs and just over the bridge to shopping area with small boutiques and restaurants. The hot tub is small but clean and hot!
The price of the room was exceptional, for the location. It's an older hotel, so it was little smaller than what I'm used to. Glenwood Springs Cedar Lodge definitely has that old, Americana, roadside motel vibe. We didn't get to see much of the grounds, due to the weather, and only staying one night. WiFi was fast, Front Desk Personnel was great.
This will be my new location to stay in Glenwood Springs. It is more of a mini resort than a hotel. It has outdoor fire pits, places to sit outdoors, park-type areas to walk our dog and a jacuzzi, and laundry facilities that were all great. The room was large with vaulted ceilings. It was quiet and centrally located. I will stay here again.
Its a great hotel. The staff was welcoming and friendly. It a great location with the hot springs and the Vapor caves a 3 minute walk! The pedestrian bridge is super close and it takes you across the river to the downtown area. Lots of places to eat, shop and drink. I put some photos on my Instagram Sealevel1
The property and exterior of the hotel are adorable, lobby area clean and welcoming. The room, a suite with a double bed and a pullout loveseat was one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in, also the most expensive despite it being a "budget" room in Glenwood Springs
The rooms were well laid out, comfortable and spacious. The hotel location is great and the rooms were quiet despite being in the centre of downtown. Nice that the hotel has its own brewery and is walking distance to lots of restaurants, the parks and the springs.
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Glenwood Springs and various restaurants – not quite walking distance, but within a few minutes' drive. The price was also decent compared to many of the other options in the area.
Price we paid was the main reason we stayed. Breakfast was included which was simple but good for our family; bagels, cereal, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs. Location was convenient for getting to the hot springs and downtown.
The breakfast was what you would expect from a hotel breakfast, but the waffles from the waffle bar were exceptional. Also, the beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in.
Breakfast was great. So was the location. Staff on checking in was ok. Night staff preferred to talk to one another rather than address our questions. Pool and hot tub were great.
The hotel is really pretty on the outside. It has an indoor pool with a slide, and the breakfast area is solid. The rooms were basic but the power points were good.
The room looks very neat and clean. Breakfast was very good. Walking for a shorter distance plus very close to the Hot Spring Pool and Downtown Glenwood Springs.
