Terribly filthy room. Breakfast, better to just offer complimentary water. An experience I don't want again. The photos don't do the place justice.

Loved staying in old home, in town. The owner, Jamie, was welcoming, kind, and a great cook too! Thank you so much. Georgetown is fun to poke around, visit with locals, and enjoy the history.

The host, Margaret, was very accommodating. Our trip included getting stuck in deep snow due to Google Maps directions that took us down a road that wasn't maintained in the winter. She went out of her way to pick us up and was very understanding and fair as we had to stay an extra night due to the vehicle being stuck. The lodge is in a beautiful location and is an amazing place to stay. Additionally, Margaret is an amazing cook and provided one of the best meals we have ever had.

Absolutely beautiful little mountain jam with historical downtown and recreational aria with two lakes and trails around in small distance from center. Plenty of boutique hotels, restaurants and cafés with walking through shopping street. Air temperature much lower than in Denver, water temperature is very cold- 50-60 degrees is not for swimming.

If you love trains and Christmas, this is your town!
If you love trains and Christmas, this is your town! The Georgetown Loop Railway is awesome! We made this trip especially for our adult son who is autistic and still, at age 29, loves trains! The Lighted Forest 45 minute night time experience and the Santa's Rocky Mountain 45 minute day time ride were nothing short of magical! Santa visits on board the train and allows you to take pics with him. Santa was so wonderful to visit at length with each family or guest on all the individual train cars!
We loved the historic downtown with all the locally owned shops and the quaint community had lots of great food options and local amenities including a very nice Visitor Center and a Gold Mining Tour all right there! The whole community decorates for Christmas! It is just beautiful and so conveniently located to many other great towns and excursions up and down I-70!
Highly recommend for a family trip for kids and adults and even a fun couples trip!

This was my second time stayng in Georgetown-------this time with my husband. I have also stayed in georgetown for several days with my young grandson in 2020 or 2021, but at a different hotel, the name of which I do not remember, but it was fine. The town and surroundings including most businesses, the river, the dammed lake and the Guanella Pass are lovely and charming and most of the town was built in the late 1800s.
My ONLY complaint is with the shocking "breakfast" served by the Rose Street Inn which was not edible by us or the other couple staying there. Burnt black toast (both sides charred) and a slice of uncutable black "fritatta." So unnecessary, so inexplicable, so unbelieveable. We have stayed at many B and Bs in
England, Italy, France, Switzerland and throughout the Middle East where we lived for five years. We have never encountered anything like the horror that was this breakfast. Coupled with the refusal on the. part of the female owner to give us a tiny bit of milk for tea or a second piece of Bunny-type bread , it was like a scene out of the old TV show, Candid Camera! We did not review this until asked by
Booking.com as we didn't want to destroy this business forever. WHAT was going on?!

The views were awesome and the town is quiet and nice. There is a nice lake with easy and hard trails where you can hike around it. Had to go back and forth between Georgetown and Lawson many times; appreciated the road between the towns so you don't have to get on the interstate. Stopped at a little coffee house a couple of times that was good. Enjoyed the tea and sandwiches that they had there.

We stayed one night with the intention of riding the Georgetown loop Railroad next morning. Georgetown is a picturesque little town, the railroad is not to miss. Only negative point is a lack of choice of restaurants. We ate in the Alpine Inn which was excellent with fresh made pizzas.
we love the personal “mom and pop” type hotels, because of personality and kindness! A healthy continental style breakfast with selection of teas, good coffee, fruits, oatmeal, power bars, boiled eggs and muffins. stylish dated clean comfortable rooms, with great old fashion powerful hot showers! fair prices located about a hour and 15 minutes west, from Denver airport. located in an historic town, with a steam engine railroad. perfect way to start your journey west, to the mountains, and on to the many national parks!
This was a very cozy and cute little bed and breakfast that was perfect for our anniversary weekend. The shared areas were decorated beautifully for this classic house and had lots of historical pictures of the house and area. It is an old house so there is creaking and noise as guests move about but we had no issues with noise keeping us awake or bothering us. It was also great to have home cooked breakfast that was so much better than what you would get at even a nice hotel. We would absolutely stay here again!
We arrived a little early but that was not a problem, the room was spacious, clean, comfortable & secure, with a great view of the mountains to the side of us. The property is located next to a very good restaurant & a gas station close to the freeway exit. The wonderful centre of Georgetown is a short drive along Argentine Street or as in our case a 25 minute leisurely walk for more places to explore or eat & drink in. The Loop Railroad is always worth a ride on.
Our room had a balcony overlooking a rushing river. If you can’t make it to Chamonix in France, this boutique hotel is the next best thing. Masterfully designed and appointed with a European flair, the staff was especially friendly and helpful. Hot croissants and freshly-squeezed juice were delivered each morning around 8:30. The historic city of Georgetown is a short walk away through the quaint, immaculately-kept neighborhood of homes built in the late 1800s.
I was pleasantly surprised! It was an older facility but it was CLEAN!! The staff was engaging and pleasant. There was no so called breakfast due to covid. After our stay, we visited with a friend about Georgetown only to learn they stay there as well. I would definately recommend if you are not concerned about having the newest place to stay at but want some place clean.
Enjoyed the stay in Georgetown, CO. We showed up late due to the airlines, I was happy to use the entry into the garage, due to it being cold outside, easy entry to the home. Family of 4, plenty of space to get comfy, 2-1/2 baths is nice. All one needs is their luggage and groceries to make a place feel like home.
This inn was like a boutique hotel. The room was exquisite and very quiet. The hosts were very cordial and polite. Even called me "sir".
Renovated in 2018, the designers did a marvelous job of creating a comfortable, attractive atmosphere. We will consider this inn in any future Colorado trips.
Very nice updated and modern.
Everything you need is provided. Convenient location to everything in Georgetown.
Management was very responsive to our concerns and needs. The price was exceptional. The privacy was perfect but we can't justify the cleaning fee as it was not clean.
we had to stay here at the last minute because of a winter storm and thankfully they had a room left. The staff were beyond fabulous, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was an all around great stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!
I liked the free pool table, the spacious and clean room, safe parking and ability to walk to everything from the hotel. I really liked that the room was quite soundproof and could not hear the I70 traffic at all inside.
Lisa represents what Georgetown is to me. She welcomed me and immediately addressed things regarding my situation. Breakfast is on point. I love it here. If you are looking for swanky fancy, maybe not for you.
Beautiful little historic mountain town. Charming. Hotel room was spotless and room smelled clean and fresh. Lovely room. Comfortable and quiet even though it is right along I-70. Great hot tub. Terrific stay!
We needed a stop during a XC trip and this was perfect! Comfortable and clean. Best breakfast by far that we had at a variety of hotels during the trip. Will probably be back on our trip home!
Jaimie was really welcoming, the breakfast was tasty and the room was very cozy.
Natural products are available in the bathroom.
It's located in the heart of Georgetown historic downtown.
Charming place in the heart of Georgetown. Jaime, our host was very friendly and cooked a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Comfy beds and felt very clean.
