El Bolsón is a quiet and beautiful place with dry, calm climate. For Patagonia, there is very little wind. The access to La Reserva Rio Azul for trekking is simple and there are many refugios (staffed huts) in the mountains to make camping easy. Also close to the national park, Los Alerces, and Bariloche/the lakes region, but quieter and less expensive.

Beautiful hiking in the area, great craft/food market, excellent store for hiking food (El Molino.) Cheap food and drink.
Warning: Bring plenty of Argentinean pesos to El Bolson! It was not like most other tourist towns; changing money was very challenging (Banco Nacional is only open 8-1, and lines are extremely long.)
Out of all the hotels in Perito Moreno this is the best one. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The restaurant is simple but the food is well cooked. The room I had was small(ish) but had all the facilities that are required. From a ski racers point of view this is the perfect hotel. Close to the mountain but the hotel has an excellent ski tuning room with powered benches and a heated boot rack.
The owner is absolutely the most helpful man i met in Argentina. Gives a lot of recommendations, we could store the backpacks in the room after checkout & he helped with money exchange aswell.
The room is very spacious, the bathroom has a great shower, the heating works perfectly, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, a good location close to the main park. Just all you need in el bolson.
The location is great. You are in the center of town but two blocks from the main street so you don’t get the street noise. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean, simply decorated, and look recently renovated. Nice bathrooms. We had a lovely garden view. There is private parking which is important in El Bolsón. It is a happening place in summer!
the host,Alex, was amazing!
best place so far in Argentina.
made us feel more than welcome to his place, helped us with tips of hiking places, restaurants and everything he could.
The balconies were amazing, very chill place.
There’s a hike starting from the back of the hostel which is very nice.
Alex also gave us bicycles to take in the area.
MORE THAN RECOMMENDED!!
Great stay with super friendly staff in a fantastic location in the mountains with hammocks in the trees, very tranquil and quite a distance to the small city center of El Bolsón, if you seek to disconnect and relax, that is the place
A clean, comfortable and cute hotel very well located in the heart of El Bolsón, just off the plaza and close to many of the town's best restaurants. Breakfast was nice. They had parking. Reasonably priced. I would return.
Best hostel I have been in Argentina so far in four months. Best beds, great kitchen, loads of different spaces to relax in. And owners Nico and Lara are as gracious as you could wish. I would return in a flash.
2 floors and very cozy and comfortable. Good wifi and a huge table and kitchen. The landlord was nice trusting on me and he allowed visits. Thanks I will choose this home again when Im back to el bolsón
Spacious and comfortable unit in a great location just a few blocks from the main tourist area of El Bolson - (close enough that we could walk but far enough so the neighborhood was still quiet).
The place was perfect
Martin the host is an amazingly nice guy
Whatever you need the place and staff will make sure to give it to you
Strongly recommend to anyone passing in El bolson
Wonderful quiet apartment a couple blocks from center El Bolsón. Safe, secure parking and easy walk to restaurants, cervecerías and groceries. Manager is extremely helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was one of the best we got in Argentina, staff was helpful and really nice, going out of their way to help, everything Clean, not far from bus Station, good sitting area
Very spacious container apartment on the edge of Cerro amigo. Nice owners and bikes you can use to explore El bolsón. The best of dogs, they even hike with you up the mountain.
It’s a magic place in El Bolsón! Perfect Hostel to start your hiking day or just relax at the beautiful garden and do some barbecue:)
Enjoyed the time a lot:)
