We met a car accident on our way. The host was kind enough to wait for us. We used google map and it led us to the wrong way. It was dark and late, we were all starving and tired. Thankfully the host drove to pick us. And when we “bluntly” asked for anything to eat and the nice couple gave us egg, bread and fruits. My whole family was very grateful and more than pleased to our stay. We offered to pay for the food but they kindly declined.

The view is amazing. The best place to stay at Uvac, especially if you are traveling with friends — then you can book a few rooms and have the whole apartment for yourself. It was a low season, so our two rooms were the only occupied rooms out of 4, so it was plenty of common space for 4 people. For more, it would be crowded. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. We forgot the oil, but the owner was so kind to share his own. The owner also helped us find a guide who took us to a boat ride to the cave, which was a big help in the low season. We hiked right from the cabin to the bridge and to the nearest camp. Which was abandoned in the low season along with the starving stray dogs and puppies, so if you love pets, bring some dog food — it can save a life.

Such a beautiful cabin in a very peaceful environment. It truly is a perfect getaway if you want to spend time in nature. The owner and his son are so kind. They made us feel so welcome and even drove us to the viewpoint. We had coffee and Rakia with them and they also offered to let us use the cabin after our hike, even though we had already checked out. Definitely book this! We are already talking about coming back :) Also, we had wifi in the cabin. It doesn’t mention it on booking, but it was a very good connection.

The Cottage is new and clean. About half an hour walk of a great viewpoint for the Uvac river. Very silent place. There are two more cottages next to this.
