Host was very helpful and cooked a fantastic breakfast including homemade banana and cherry cake. Room was very clean and modern, only several years old. The hotel is close to park entrance #1, and does require a car to make the small trip. The National Park is outstanding and worth the visit.

Stunning views in national park Pltivička jezera.
Stunning views in national park Pltivička jezera. Plenty of walking paths that are exceptionally maintained. Restaurants, coffee and souvenir shops can be found on main spots with decent prices. Most of places are card only which is another big plus for this place.

Plitvicka is beautiful.
Plitvicka is beautiful. I recommend booking tickets well in advance and going early. Upper and Lower Lakes are beautiful. We walked both lakes in one day, starting at approximately 9:30am, finishing at 4:00pm during shoulder season.

Comfortable bed! Location to Plitvice park entrance #3.
Comfortable bed! Location to Plitvice park entrance #3. Quality of food was great. Variety of breakfast options. Ease of parking. Staff:) Free activities: pool, table tennis, small ‘zoo’, several outdoor sitting areas.
Cons:
Size of shower (no problem for us as we are small) Charge for archery.

The scenery and walkways were awesome.
The scenery and walkways were awesome. Loved they kept the walkways more natural in wood and rock and how they weaved throughout the park. They apparently limit the number of guests, but it was VERY crowded both late afternoon and early morning. Hard to enjoy nature with heal to heal people on the paths. Would have paid more to have less people.

That is a magnificent park surrounding beautiful lakes and waterfalls in every second step Although heavily crowded during the high season it does worth to try it perhaps twice so that the second day may have the chance to find an appropriate combination of routes more serene. It is a lifetime experience if it is not crowded.

the park is beautiful and like no other place on earth. yes, it was crowded as we were warned about but we got in at the 8 am timeslot and overall it was fine. definitely purchase your tickets online in advance and get an early slot. Slow down and enjoy the park. its kind of the same thing wherever you are in the parl - crystal clear and calm lakes, with small stream waterfalls and them several larger ones. All of it is beautiful. walking the entire park, you will either get bored because its the same thing throughout, or you will be blessed and calmed by its beauty and having the opportunity to relax, slow down, and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world

The location was excellent for viewing the Upper Lake early in the morning. The breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet were very good with a lot of food choices. The room was decent.
If you stay at the hotel for more than one night then you can get a complimentary pass to the park for one of those days. I wish this option was mentioned in the guide books, because I had already bought a two days pass before arriving in Plitvice. I actually ended up visiting Plitvice for 3 days :)
We stayed for 3 nights at the Lake House and it was great!
The house is very close to the Plitvice Lakes National Park Entrance 2.
The room was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed.
You can also order a very good breakfast for 8 euros/person(60kn).
The house has a very relaxing backyard where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or relax in the evening after a day in the park.
From this hotel you can get to the Plitvice national park on foot! :)
Of course the main reason for a stay in this hotel is the proximity to the national park. However this hotel itself is also an experience. A small village is formed by the guest houses, even some domestic animals can be seen.
All the equipment and furniture of the hotel is of high quality.
The breakfast was splendid.
We absolutely loved this hotel! Excellent breakfast and located close to Plitvice NP. Our room was extremely comfortable and we loved the decor throughout the hotel. We also had a delicious dinner at the property for a very reasonable price. The host truly could not have been kinder to us, he even gave us tips for the rest of our travels in the area and plenty of homemade brandy!
Breza is the 'complete package', offering wholesome and substantial dinner and breakfast (and simple packed lunch) as well as comfortable rooms and easy parking. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
The Pansion is a 15-minute walk from an entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park.
It's a perfect base to enjoy Plitvice Lakes. I'm so glad I chose to stay here.
This was our very best stay in Croatia! The hotel is small, but exceptionally comfortable and clean, located very close to Plitvička jezera National Park, so perfectly suitable to stay before or after the park visit. Everyone working at the property was extremely nice and friendly, and the dinner consisting of fish and mixed grill was an exceptional delight!
We stayed at Hotel Plitvice to have easy access to Plitvice Lakes National Park and that met our goals. Marija at the front desk was a wonderful concierge who was incredibly helpful and informative, including assisting us with dinner reservations for the night of our stay. The free breakfast was also nice and convenient.
Honestly the only good thing about this hotel is the location and free parking. Breakfast was so so. It was edible, but eat without expectation. The reception staff were helpful and kind. We completed Plitvice Lakes National Park trail H in 3.5 hours, so really there is no need to stay overnight.
Everything was great. The location, cleanliness, parking space, utilities like a proper hotel, newly constructed, responsive owner, proper guidelines for self check-in. Distance from Plitvice Jezera is just 15 minutes drive. And very big rooms with beautiful bathroom.
Easy to find, close to Plitvice Lakes. Friendly, kind hosts. They made me a cup of coffee with croissants in the morning. Rural area. Dinner was available about 7km down the road, or maybe you could eat hear the Plitvice Park before traveling on.
The overall stay in Hotel Jezero was amazing! Location was perfect to go to Plitvice Lakes. The staff were outstanding and made our stay memorable. The food and breakfast was also amazing. Lovely pool and Sauna on site too.
Diner prepared by the owner was absolutely exceptional. Breakfast was
Very good with a big variety of freshly baked goods.
My husband and I are highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Plitvice Lakes.
