Plitvicka is beautiful.
Plitvicka is beautiful. I recommend booking tickets well in advance and going early. Upper and Lower Lakes are beautiful. We walked both lakes in one day, starting at approximately 9:30am, finishing at 4:00pm during shoulder season.

Comfortable bed! Location to Plitvice park entrance #3.
Comfortable bed! Location to Plitvice park entrance #3. Quality of food was great. Variety of breakfast options. Ease of parking. Staff:) Free activities: pool, table tennis, small ‘zoo’, several outdoor sitting areas.
Cons:
Size of shower (no problem for us as we are small) Charge for archery.

The scenery and walkways were awesome.
The scenery and walkways were awesome. Loved they kept the walkways more natural in wood and rock and how they weaved throughout the park. They apparently limit the number of guests, but it was VERY crowded both late afternoon and early morning. Hard to enjoy nature with heal to heal people on the paths. Would have paid more to have less people.

That is a magnificent park surrounding beautiful lakes and waterfalls in every second step Although heavily crowded during the high season it does worth to try it perhaps twice so that the second day may have the chance to find an appropriate combination of routes more serene. It is a lifetime experience if it is not crowded.

the park is beautiful and like no other place on earth. yes, it was crowded as we were warned about but we got in at the 8 am timeslot and overall it was fine. definitely purchase your tickets online in advance and get an early slot. Slow down and enjoy the park. its kind of the same thing wherever you are in the parl - crystal clear and calm lakes, with small stream waterfalls and them several larger ones. All of it is beautiful. walking the entire park, you will either get bored because its the same thing throughout, or you will be blessed and calmed by its beauty and having the opportunity to relax, slow down, and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world

The hotel Lakeside plitvice is located in a beautiful peaceful area near the lakes entrance 3, about 5. minute walk. My girlfriend immediately fall in love with the photos we saw on booking.com. The accommodation itself has a charming vibe and the initial staff greeting was delightful. We arrived on Thursday, midweek, which means that rooms were not fully booked, so Thursday and Friday were quiet and peaceful. The size of the room was very spacious and the beds were really comfortable.
The lady (Nina) who does everything alone at this hotel is very helpful, hard-working and she speaks perfect English. She showed us the best places to visit and that was great for us as we weren’t that well prepared as to where to go first. The owner/manager was quite helpful as well and he was understanding and cooperating. The location is great, it’s very close to Plitvicka Jezera, which was the main reason why we booked this place.
If you are looking for a place to stay near Plitvice, look no further. Eva is a wonderful host, ánd cooks delicious food from her outdoor kitchen. The garden has beautiful views over the mountain just behind. The personal touch and relaxed way of accommodating the guests made this one our best and definitely most heartwarming stays in Croatia. Away from the crowds, at walking distance to the entrance of the Plitvice lakes.
if you want to feel like at home, to enjoy fresh air, nature, peace and relaxation, then this is the best hotel in Plitvice. a new hotel with good bath products, one of the tastiest local food with local products. the staff is very polite and will help you with any issues. Plitvice lakes are just 5km away so it is very close which is very comfortable and accessible. definitely a great hotel to come back.
The hotel is very well situated, at 7 km from Entrance 1 Plitvice and at 2,5 km from the bus station Mukinje. We didn't have a car, so we walked from the bus station and in the morning we took a taxi to Plitvice. The host was very nice and friendly, she helped us with all the information we needed and she called a taxi for us in the morning.
The location was perfect for entrance 2 to the lakes a very short walk from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and anything you needed to know went out of their way to help. The view from our bedroom window second floor block A was brilliant with views of Plitvice Lake and surrounding country side.
Cozy guest house in a quiet place - perfect when you have missed the last bus from Plitvice lakes :D
It has a separate dining room which is cool and also it has some food and drinks.
The hosts were nice and even if they don't know English so well, you still can find a common sense.
Very Nice, clean, and well kept. Rooms were of ample size. The location was quiet so sleeping with windows open was not an issue. It is within walking distance to Plitvice Lakes lower lakes. There's a nice restaurant right next store and a market within a couple minutes walking.
The location is perfect, approx 15-20 minutes walking from the entrance of the Plitvice National Park entrance. The staff is lovely and welcoming. They even put us in a better room than the one we booked. The hotel is cosy, and the breakfast was huge. I'll come back for sure!
Nice clean hotel. Room and bathroom was bit small but perfectly fine for one night stay. Lovely staff and great breakfast at the hotel next door. Entrance 2 to Plitvice was just steps away. And perfect location if you are traveling by bus.
Owner and staff were friendly and beyond accommodating. Room was very nice and very comfortable. Food was excellent. We will try to stay at the Holiday Lodge again should we return to Plitvice Lakes. Wow! Plitvice Lakes — a world wonder!
Cute, privately owned boutique hotel, stayed only for 1 night , 6 mins drove to plitvice lakes. The owner is pleasant and accommodating. The room is very basic but enough for accommodations. Clean and neat, has a balcony with nice view
spacious, modern, and clean property that is very close to Plitvice Lakes. Irene personally runs the property. Of all the accommodations in Croatia this felt the most like home with more room and property to enjoy!
- great location to visit Plitvice
- staff is very nice
- comfortable room
- good breakfast included
- there is a nice terrace in front of the hotel to have a drink
Location is right next to the Plitvice National Park entrance, so if you're going to the park, it's super easy to go from the hotel. The room was quiet and clean.
So close to Plitvice Lakes. We had rented a car so it was fine to drive, but I think there was a path from the house to Entrance 2. Our balcony was so nice.
Great hotel to stay when visiting the Plitvice park.
Good restaurant and great breakfast buffet.
A lot of things to do: mini golf, darts, table tennis,…
