A modern new hotel sitting all by itself next to the freeway, complete with restaurants and a casino. Not a bad place to stop and relax and leave the final 4 hours into Santiago for tomorrow. The rooms are nice, closets with sufficient coat hangers, spacious bathroom. There were 2 restaurants serving the same menu - one in the hotel and one in the casino. The third restaurant was sandwiches and the like. The hotel restaurant was, like the lobby, open, minimalist, and cold. The food was OK - not bad, but nothing to write home about.
This is a great choice and value in Chillan. The apartment is very modern and furnishings and appliances are excellent and complete— felt suited for a permanent resident. Nicely decorated and the kitchen was well-stocked. Mini-split heater/AC was nice as was a specific oarking spot in front of the building. Owner Carmen was very helpful and immediately answered all questions. A+
I knew breakfast was included in the price, but I thought it would be just the usual basic Chilean breakfast. Luckily I was wrong. It was a great breakfast buffet. It would be considered quite decent even in places like Germany. The location is excellent. Less than a minute walk from the main square in town, not far from the produce market and the shopping mall.
A really large apartment, all very clean and modern - great bathroom. Very comfy beds. And our host was SO friendly and patient (we don't speak Spanish so Google translate was our friend). We went into winter but can see how lovely it would be with the pool in summer. Lots of safe parking. A short taxi ride from Chillan centre. Definitely recommend.
The best part was the bed. Very comfortable bed. The view was also splendid, considering that the city really doesn't have much to offer in terms of landscape. The apartment is brand new, spotless and cozy. Big screen TVs for tele lovers. Location is also great, as it is two blocks away from the town square and its famous cathedral.
Everything!
It was a wonderful way to end our trip in Chile. Out of the city, but close enough if you need to go.
Someone came everyday to prepare breakfast and to clean the house. Such a treat!
The owner stopped by our first night to make sure everything was in order.
Would definitely stay there again, but for a much longer time.
Restaurant is pretty good...easy and predictable place to eat. Though the breakfast is large and satisfying, it's predictable...exactly like that of other Diego de Almagro hôtels in the chain (I've done 4 now). I had a very good late afternoon dinner there as well, though service was sketchy at that hour.
The interior was updated and from afar it looked nice.
It has a central location in Chillan, but there is nothing to do in the city.
It has safe and free underground parking space which is easily accessible by the elevator.
There was lactose free yoghurt available at breakfast.
Lovely place to stay if you are on a short stay in Chillan. Very clean and comfortable. Owner Rosa very nice and helpful. Great value. Very handy for train station and very nice Peruvian restaurant opposite Huasi Inca, we had a great meal there.
The apartment is modern, clean, and minimally equiped. It has air conditioning, heating, and a hot water heater that provides instant hot water for the two showers. The beds are comfortable, there is a nice view from the balcony.
Excellent, centrally located apartment. Round the corner from the local food market in Chillan, which is very colourful, and a block away from the main square. Very new and sleek: even included an iron which I was pleased about.
Easy access from “Ruta 5 Sur” close to the city of Chillan..
We were 4 people and could stay comfortably in one room with a private bathroom. We rest well and had breakfast the next day.
Family business with kind staff.
It’s exactly halfway between Santiago and Puerto Varas. Instead of driving 12 hours in a row, we drove 6, then slept at Terrazas Chillan, and drove the rest the next day. Much better!
