The dinner was much better than in other restaurants for a friendlier price. The room was large, comfortably furnished, and an easily accessible relax area with saunas. Excursion starting points easily accessible by buses, such as Mátrafüred and Mátraháza. Hotel Opal is close to the bus station with frequent buses.AnnaHungary

The hotel is easy to find and not a very long detour if you travel on the highway as we did. Basic but functional room (they have aircon which is a BIG plus during August). Very generous breakfast with enough choice. Nice spa and clean swimming pool.
