The hotel is close to the wine cellars of Farkasmály, where it is possible to taste different kinds of excellent quality wine for a relatively low price. The hotel is close to the hiking routes of Mátra. You can reach Mátrafüred in 15 minutes by car, where you can park your car and follow the natural hiking routes. If you do not like walking you can go to Kékes, the highest point in Hungary.DiánaHungary

The dinner was much better than in other restaurants for a friendlier price. The room was large, comfortably furnished, and an easily accessible relax area with saunas. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect and as soon as we entered the room, a very good smell permeated the whole place. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. We book a stay at Hotel Opál at the drop of a hat.
