Beuatiful nature, good skiing areas. The food on the other hand is disgusting. You can not find even a barely decent restaurant. People there must urgently hire real cooks. It is impossible to have more than 2 meals there. Very sorry for this

This is our third or fourth visit to Kolašin, a very pleasant little city with a nice hometown feel. It is very walkable - the pedestrian street is always alive with people strolling or sitting in cafes. Several really nice restaurants featuring lots of local specialties. Restaurant Vodenica, right next to a rushing stream, is a particular gem. They also have live music in evenings during tourist season. Kolašin is the perfect spot for visiting Biograsko Jezero - lake and national park - which is a must. Morača Monastery is also not far away, and there are also numerous local hikes one can do. The tourist information office is quite helpful.
(I should note that we've only ever been here in the summertime so I can't comment on the winter sports scene.)

It is a beautiful place to visit in winter and summer. Very happy with the hospitality of the people and the service. It will be very very busy at the ski resort on a Sunday so if you can, try to avoid it...

This place is difficult if you don't have a car as buses are few & far between. On weekends they almost don't exist. There are some wonderful hiking destinations, such as Mrtvica Canyon 30 kms away, but so difficult to get there & back, plus the area is very badly signposted. Kolasin is nice but we cannot say it is 'user-friendly'.

We enjoyed the mountain air and the small-town feeling...
We enjoyed the mountain air and the small-town feeling Kolasin had to offer. The food was good; the prices inexpensive. Obviously one does not travel to Kolasin just to see the town: there’s not much there to see. The town is replete with dilapidated houses, cheap Chinese toy shops, and dirty, stray dogs. But nonetheless, it had a certain charm.
Skiing was our reason to visit. The mountain, which is just 15 minutes up the road was perfect for a young family. The lift tickets are very cheap (comparatively to anywhere else in the US or Europe), and, as long as there is snow, one is sure to have a good time. We figured, with young kids, regardless of where we skied, we would have spent most of the time on beginner hills anyway, so why not visit a smaller ski resort and skip the crowds and prices. The ski lodge was cozy. And since most skiers on the mountain were also guests in the town, it added to the small-town, family feel.

Cute town. Great traditional food. Mesmerizing nature.
Cute town. Great traditional food. Mesmerizing nature. National park is a 15 minute ride away from town centre.
Highly recommend: restaurant Vodenica, accommodation Vila Kraljica and walk around Biogradsko lake.
Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. Everything is new.
High quality room, great design, very clean, comfortable, and the staff was amazing.
They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kolasin.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and so was the service.
Sherpas breakfast is something you have to try and “kačamak” is the best in Kolašin. The ambient in restaurant is great, music is perfect and a very big parking is a big relief.
The "Mushroom" house is an amazing achievement both artistically and architecturally. Looking at it from the outside you would never believe there is room inside for three people to stay comfortably. Everything is well thought to the last detail. A small kitchen and bathroom are fully functional and central heating allows for winter holidays. Located in walking distance from Kolašin town center, it is a unique spot and a true gem of the region.
The location was great because it is right in between Biogradska Gora park entrance and the quaint town of Kolasîn. Cabin was a bit small as we were four but it was not an issue for our one night stay. There were 2 twin beds and one full bed so it was comfortable for sleeping. Host was very nice and accommodating.
Everything was great. A warm welcome was expecting us by the owners at arrival. The place is located next to the river, very clean, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The Hospitality of the owners made us feel at home. We strongly recomend it for your staying in Kolasin.
Guest House Alte was really in the center of Kolašin - you can go to many nice places for dinner on foot. There was not much street noise on last floor and rooms were nicely renovated. On the street it was not issue to find a parking place, in October.
Great and cozy accommodation near everything in Kolasin. The owner was very pleasant and wanted to make sure it was warm enough for us during whole stay. Accommodation has everything necessary. We will be back for sure.
Absolutely fantastic. Great facilities, great breakfast and great hospitality. The hotel is using a very nice app where you can find information about restaurants, things to do and your breakfast choice.
Everything was perfect!
The property is brand new and modern, cleanness 10/10. It has everything for the perfect stay and it is very hi end, just like a 5 star hotel or even better!
Very close to the center of Kolasin, quite place, the owners are very nice and helpfull. Comfortable rooms, very clean, easy parking. Highly recomend the place for staying in Kolasin.
Very nice and comfortable room, within walking distance of the centre. Great bed and bathroom. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I had a great time in Kolasin
