Overall amazing value for relatively low price. Me and my partner came to celebrate our anniversary, and we loved every moment there.
The property itself looks like the newest building in Zdiar, the place is all clean and fragrant, everything looks new and the design is really tasteful and cosy with a lot of wood and stone
The room was also very beautiful and had everything needed including a fridge, an extra pillow for each of us, electric kettle and glasses, ashtray and chairs for smokers on the balcony and more
The spa included in the price has a beautiful and fancy design, heated pool with an amazing mountain view you can see while bathing and perfect temperature
Overall great experience. We would definetly recommend
Offering views of the Belianske Tatry Mountains, the Privát Domino in Ždiar has wooden décor elements and features a garden with barbecue facilities and a kids' playground.

My favorite was hiking around with my dog, we mostly went to Strednica. The restaurants are good (my favorite was Zdiaranka and Stone Art Gallery café to enjoy the view and have good coffee or a glass of wine), there are several shops to buy food as well. I visited the local museum. I recommend going to Tree Top Walk in Bachledova Dolina, very interesting place.

Zdiar is a beautiful town, perfect for skiing, hiking and relaxing! It has everything you need, the people are very friendly and helpful although it would be a good idea to learn some basic Slovak just to get you by. Waking up in the high tatras mountains in a sight to behold! Numerous restaurants line the main street and there is an amazing pizza restaurant that sells great drinks too, looks like a museum inside wall to wall with Slovakia history gathered by the owner it is called Pizzeria Rustika. I would highly recommend a visit.

The destination offers interesting possibilities, it is right in the High Tatras, so you can go anywhere. Especially in Ždiar, however, the great attraction is the cable car above Bachledova dolina and the Walk in the Treetops and an all-day experience. Also, the location is beautiful just for ordinary light hiking - walking around the site without the need for a long hike.

Ždiar is mostly known for skiing in winter.
Ždiar is mostly known for skiing in winter. I was there in summer so the best attraction is Walking path high in the trees (chodník korunami stromov) - very nice and romantic walk in nature.
Other than that there is nothing much, but you have other cities nearby like Tatranská Lomnica where you have plenty of good restaurants and small attractions.
Close you have Belian cave which is a popular tourist place.

Lovely village built for the ski and hiking seasons.
Lovely village built for the ski and hiking seasons. Pretty small but close to the main places worth a visit. We were at the Lomnicky stit, the Morskie Oko and Bachledka. We would loved to stay longer!!
The room was excellent but any room is unique and dofernet, the staff very friendly and helpful we had very pleasant stay with all the wellness facilities. Salt water pool and jacuzzi, sweedsih foot massage and dry sauna with an ice cold bath end the salt cave. We very happy with the food, breakfast which was included and Swedish stile and also the dinner. Perfect wiev from our room on Bachledka Koruna stromov. We can highly recommend this place to everyone who likes to hike or sky and wishes to relax in a prefect atmosphere afterwards.
Great location for exploring east Tatras and surroundings. Biking to Kezmarok takes no effort, as it is downhill all the time. Beware, you have to get back too! There are plenty of opportunities to eat out in Zdiar.
The large apartment on the upper floor is very spacious - hall, bathroom, 3 separate bedrooms, kitchen and living room (one bedroom is accessible via kitchen, one via the living room, one directly from the hall). Kitchen is fully equipped (sans dishwasher). Friendly staff.
We loved everything about this place. Absolutely spotless, cozy with amazing views of the mountains. It has small and large kitchen which was very practical.
You can go for a nice walk through the village of Zdiar or continue further to hike to Monkova Dolina. Or you can reach other hikes.
The family who knows the place is very friendly and happy to give any advice.
The most beautiful place we've been to in Slovakia! It's a beautiful old farm house at the end of the village, just below the mountains and by the stream. There are hiking trails around and a beautiful yard with a play house and swings ;) the room was very big and the common kitchen and bathroom very clean and well equipped. A very recommended stay!
Accomodation itself was super clean and nice! The hosts were super friendly. They made delicious breakfast, they even made a birthday cake with candle on the birthday morning, they gave good advice on hiking trails in Belianske Tatry, they made sure that you could just relax and enjoy your vacation.
The hotel has a very good location. There is an interesting amusement park nearby. Next to the hotel is a good local restaurant where you can have a very good dinner. Breakfast is delivered to the room and is rich. The hotel is simple, but at a good price (compared to other hotels in the same area).
Location was perfect in centre of the village, also very close to the ski slopes, rooms were nice and big, warm and comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant at the place. bus stop right at the hotel to take you to the ski resort. Overall very happy
Staff were very nice and helpful. I left some stuff a few days before my check-in so I would not carry them around while trekking and there was no problem with that.
The room was clean and comfortable, showers and toilets seemed very new and shiny. The hotel restaurant was very good.
Amazing Hotel! Although officially 4 star, it is a 5 star hotel in all criteria. The staff are fantastic, the taste and choice of food are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and the spa has been designed with great care. We will be returning guests!
The pension is close to the town entrance and has a lovely view of the High Tatras. The place was cozy, the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing (self-service). There was also a shared kitchenette with some utensils.
Location is good, also good food in the nearby Zdiarsky dom place. The owner was nice and patient with us too (our little man got sick and was crying alot the first night we stayed there)
the room is clean , the host is friendly.
we came with 2 Dogs and they also happy
in front of the hotel there's green field , our Dogs can play and run around freely
The hotel was very new and modern actually but with a sense of old style. Nice balcony with meadow views. Dinner buffet was lovely and one evening we had a live band.
The landscape where the hotel is located is stunning. Everything was clean and personal was nice. there was a wide range of breakfast, even lactosefree.
