The apartment consists of one bedroom, kitchen/living room and the bathroom. The kitchen was equipped so we were able to prepare some simple meals. There was even a small TV and a sofa. The house is located a little but further from the center of Terchova but as we had a car, it wasn't a problem. The owners were really nice and friendly.

Really enjoyed this rental. Plenty of space for family and downstairs is well equipped for a small family to spend a rainy day. Beds were very good with clean sheets.

Very nice place to stay.
Very nice place to stay. You can enjoy slovak food in few restaurants here or you can buy slovak cheese in local shops. You can enjoy nice view from the tower above Terchova on one side or you can visit the statue of Janosik on the other side of the hills.zuzuzu25Slovakia - 8.0Scored 8.0

Close to nearby tourist attractions related to Janosik and folklore. First of all, close to the trails to Mala Fatra. There are enough restaurants with a variety of dishes. Everyone will find something for himself. You can freely move around the town and the surrounding area by car, bicycle or public transport. Depending on what you like, from morning to evening you can spend time on the tourist routes, stop somewhere for a meal, coffee with a cake, relax on a bench and admire the wonderful scenery.

Terchová is a great location for hikers.
Terchová is a great location for hikers. Close by is a ski centre Vratna, so it’s great in the summer and winter. We visited summer folk festival Janosikove Dni, which we thoroughly recommend. There is plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and two supermarkets.

There is fully equipped kitchen we could use, as well as a living room area with adjustable armchairs and a TV. The bathroom is a bit retro, but has everything one might need. Before our stay, the host asked, whether we prefer having a double bed or two single ones. Also, there’s a backyard you can hang out in with a very friendly dog waiting to play with any visitors… :) As Terchová is a small town, everything important was reachable 15 minutes at max by foot.

Good location - easy free and private parking. Biely potok is a 12 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. Noise levels were low. Room was fine and clean. Shared bathroom was clean and close by. Kitchen was ok, with both spacious fridge and an electric kitchen-plate with 4 spaces, but better take some of your own kitchenware to be on a safe side. Plates and cups were aplenty but pots and panes were not that many.

We had everything we needed, apartment is well equipped, bed very comfortable, lots of leaflets and books in different languages for ideas for trips etc. There's couple grocery shops in Terchová, plenty restaurants and attractions and lovely walks nearby. We spoke to couple local people and they were kind and happy to help.
