Only for those, who are looking for a quiet place.
Only for those, who are looking for a quiet place. No crowd but also no shops, restaurants etc. within the village. Nevertheless, not far with car in the other villages. Sunset can be seen. The sea is nice but the panorama is not the infinite, but an island with naked sand & rocks.

There were not a lot of tourist, enough space on the beach for everyone. It is small town and you could walk everywhere, you do not need to use the car. Quite place,which has also few restaurants, shop.

During summer season there is lot of good restaurants where you can eat. In Karlobag is located gas station several shops and apotheke. In town there is post office and few possibillities where to exchange money.

Karlobag is a perfect place dor those who like and seek more adventure in the mountains and combine it with beautiful sea. I would say it's a small place more for family, or couples who like peace and quiet or just adventurers who wanna be close to the Velebit mountain.

It's great place to stay with kids, it's calm and small, not so crowded. Restaurants offer great sea food and fish for good prices (especially OK Karlobag). And it's like 1.5 hours drive to Plitvicka lakes so if you've got enough of sunbathing, you can go for a trip over there.

Small City without special spirit but on the other hand it's...
Small City without special spirit but on the other hand it's a good place for "base" to visiting Velebit. Only one hour to Paklenica and one and half to Northern Velebit. Might be also quite good start point for a trip to Una Park in BH - about 2.5 hours. The biggest advantage is that there are 2 markets, petrol station and few restaurants. There are some beaches but you need a car. Best one is zavratnica (a ticket is required 30Kn per person). During evenings might be crowded so sometimes You would better make a reservation in a restaurant. Good one is Karlobag OK and the little one near Karlobag OK but can't remember the name 😀.

The best place we stayed in Croatia. Both accommodation and beach location. If you want to get away from crowded places, this is the place. Super clean and organized apartment. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. In addition, the owners leave basic condiments for cooking, which makes it very easy. The owners are super polite and kind. The location is literally 1 minute from the beach. The beach is beautiful, calm and only a few people. There are no shops nearby but was not a problem. We will certainly stay there again.

The room was very clean and well equipped with a kitchen, air conditioning, a TV and WiFi. Parking is right in front of the building. The beach is right down some stairs and its isolated with plenty of shade and sunlight. We were provided with a parasol and deck chairs. Karlobag is a couple of minutes away by car and theres also a path along the shore all the way to the city if you like to walk. We had a great experience and would highly recommend it.

Milan and Mariija were fantastic hosts! They welcomed us with wine, delicious homemade rakija, juice and water. The balcony offered amazing views of the Adriatic Sea and Pag Island with enjoyable summer breezes. The apartment was spacious, updated, clean and well equipped. Walking distance to the town, grocery stores, restaurants and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Milan and Marija, for a wonderful stay in Karlobag!

We were passing through karlobag, stayed just one night. The host made our quick visit go really well. He communicated well, offered us sparkling water and a snack when we arrived, and oriented us to the town. The view was stunning. The bed was comfortable. There was hot water and two efficient burners for making tea in the morning. The parking was super easy. It was perfect for our needs.

Absolutely perfect! We was travelling with boat (see photos) and it was really nice to park a boat in yard. Flat was clean and quiet. A lot of towels. Big balcony with table and chairs. Big bed. There is a grill possibilities. It was MUCH quieter and better here than in Karlobag itself.

Leona's husband welcomed me and was of great help! The apartment was spacious and had everything you need. Close to a cool beach named "Tatiana" - definitely recommend going. Karlobag is a beautiful village. Enjoyed my stay, really comfortable and quiet and had a really good sleep.

The staff are incredibly friendly and relaxed. The hotel itself feels safe. The location is fantastic - right next to a store so we could buy alcohol and sandwich stuff which we stored in the room fridge. It even has a little freezer.

The location was wonderful. Shop was literally 30 seconds far from the house. The house was super clean. Whole Karlobag is perfect location for holidays and nice road trips. Turtles in the garden was nice show.
