Although located closely to the main road, we had a quiet and large room with view on the mountains. We had a small terrace facing the car park. The beds were really comfy. We didn't meet much staff, but whom we met was really friendly.

Beautiful, peaceful location in the mountains outside of Banska Brystrica! The woman who ran the hotel was extremely friendly and nice (as was her son that we spoke with on the phone). She was very accommodating to our requests throughout our stay. She even shared some special Slovak cheese with us! Price was extremely reasonable!
The little Pension St. Maria is located 9.3 mi north Banska Bystrica, in the Velka Fatra and Nizke Tatry/Low Tatras national park and consists of 2 buildings, a garden with a creek in the middle.
