An exceptionally good value for money, excellent location just 3 minutes from the lake, right in the middle of a forest with gorgeous views. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the food served at the restaurant (a la carte) was great. We liked it so much that we had dinner there every night during our stay. The SPA was small, but had everything necessary to provide relaxation after a long day at the ski tracks. We'd definitely come back again

It is an amazing quiet place in the mountain.
It is an amazing quiet place in the mountain. I like visiting in the summer because of the views and hiking opportunities. I prefer staying in areas like Smolyan Lakes rather than the town or Pamporovo as I like to be far from people. There are a lot of hikes and places to visit (with car, short hikes and long ones). It was not my first time in Smolyan but my first time coming here alone. I have been mostly in warmer months but I have enjoyed some nice weather as well - I managed to do some proper hiking - going to the Nevyastata area and to the Waterfalls Canyon, as well as exploring the Old Town and the New City center. I should confess that the length of the town is quite challenging even for a person who enjoys walking. I had to take a taxi to go to the Nevyastata but I walked back and it took me more than 2 hours. It was worth it though. Smolyan is a beautiful mountain town in which friendly and helpful people live. Many cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine. Clean air and great views. We are coming here for the third time, and I am sure that we will come here more than once.

Smolqn is a great city with kind and friendly people.
Smolqn is a great city with kind and friendly people. Many cultural places to visit. The national gallery and the theater are awesome. The near by mountains offer many trail walking possibilities and great scenery. The restaurant Rodopski Kut is very good. If you have the chance go and see also the 600+ year old plane tree.

Throughout our stay we enjoyed hiking, the spa and the magnificent view from the apartment window. The apartment has everything you need and even more. I was pleased with the opportunity to turn on a movie on a fairly large TV screen (the TV has Internet access, YouTube, and a browser). We found the nearest large grocery store, Bill's, 15 minutes by car. The hotel also has a restaurant where the food is very tasty. The location was perfect away from the busy town of Smolyan and nearby the lakes. Beds were comfortable, the double flat specious with a lovely fireplace in the living room. The breakfast was quite rich and tasty. The staff was very helpful. Will recommend this hotel for sure and hopefully will be back
