Probably good for beginners (less than 3 trips). Anything more and you’ll be bored after a day. Resprt is dreadful - like Blackpool on ice. No atmosphere, just bars, average restaurants and limited skiing.
Two good things - Rila hotel is lovely, and Victoria restaurant is a gem amongst some very basic food offerings

Borovets is a great place for families looking for a ski vacation. It's not to hard to get to from Sofia airport. Just 77 minutes away from the airport. The town felt safe and quiet even at night ( at least where we stayed). It has a green slope which is ideal for beginners. The blue and green slopes are right next to each other. This enabled me to see my daughter ski on the blue slope while I used the easier green slope which was too easy for her. The lift is safe and efficient. The slopes are wide enough to accommodate all the skiers without feeling too crowded. There are lots of good options for ski lessons and equipment. Personally I recommend Ollie Moly Ski school and rental. One piece of advice: don't change money to BGN in the airport. You get a much better rate by changing in Borovets. There are plenty of change stores in the town. The town is very close to the ski slopes. There are plenty of places to buy food

Beautiful slopes and lots of chairs available high on the mountains. It is however extremely crowded at the bottom gondola. It opens at 8:30 but at that time the queue is already very long and it's going slowly. We spent almost 45-60 mins staying in the queue at the bottom gondola. Also, the closing time is 4:30 PM. We would have expected that during Febr when the day is longer that they will be open much later than that.

Slopes were not well maintained, especially after it snowed overnight. They would become bumpy quickly after start of the day. Lifts timinings are also stange - cabin starts at 8 am, while Yastrebec Express at 8:30, so if one wants to go up - you have to wait very long time at Mid Station. I think it would be a great idea to leave 2 or 3 cabins empty, every now and then, so people waiting at mid statuon can board quicker.

The resort has seen better days.
The resort has seen better days. As a native from Bulgaria we can see the hordes of people hitting the slopes during the winter(when we visit) and if you plan to visit during the weekend - don't, you will ruin your experience. We are talking about 20minute waits on lifts, no space to walk due to lack of parking spaces to handle the traffic load and so. Week days are still calm and you can actually enjoy it. Another tip - if you want to eat, go to the near by town Samokov(5min drive) instead of eating on the slopes. It costs as much as 50% less and the food is better.
Me and my wife tooke the signature room with slopes and mountain view, it was on the 8th floor with excellent view we really like it. The location was perfect directly on the slopes the food was good, the breakfast was excellent with alot of variety we tried the lunch buffet it was ok i dont really recommend. The staff was very friendly specially daniel the door man he helped us with our bags and also he recommend a few places to try and visit nearby. The hotel is excellent choice for a ski trip for sure will be back in the future.
I chose this hotel on a last minute trip to Borovets. All in all, i am extremely happy for choosing this hotel. One thing I particularly appreciated about the Euphoria Club Hotel was that I did not experience any problems with the sofa in my room, which can sometimes be an issue in hotels. The sofa was comfortable and in good condition, which made it a great place to relax after a long day of skiing.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Euphoria Club Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Borovets
The best location in Borovets. Rooms was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. View is spectacular. Staff was really good and helpful. Parking was excellent and easy to get in and out. Hotel let us keep the car inside for few hours after check out. Food at the breakfast was really good and with quite a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit (although 95% of guests were skipping these for the fried dough).
The room and bathroom are very spacious. The hotel is about 5-10m drive from the slopes, and the hotel transfered us in the morning and returned us in the afternoon. There is a separate leisure room in the hotel with a pingpong table. The staff is nice and friendly. There is a hotel restaurant, the included breakfast is decent, with the option to eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant as well.
the sweetest host! a little bit of a language barrier that was easily fixed with google translate. the house was a bit far from the main hotel zone in Borovets. for us it was perfect and quiet. It is located a walking distance from the lifts. in the house there is a full kitchen with everything needed. really recommend
I visited the hotel when there was no snow in the area. Despite that it was a great experience, We enjoyed hiking in the surrounding forest and visited the village of Borovets. The rooms were comfortable and cozy with everything anyone needs, even a small kitchenette. All in all a great time spend
Ice Angels Hotel is the perfect location within Borovets for skiing and eating/drinking as well as ski hire immediately outside. Our room looked out onto the slopes and 6man lift, and the manager was extremely helpful booking our transfer and extending our room booking due to later flights.
The staff at the hotel was very kind. My car broke down and they did everything they could to help. They communicated with the car hire company and made sure they would send someone to pick me up.
The atmosphere was very friendly, the food was great. I would definitely stay there again.
Average hotel with good value for money. Location is 5 min drive from Borovets center but there is a free skibus from the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were very good with a lot of different tasty dishes, also plenty of vegetarian options.
Spa and pool were nice after a day of skiing.
The food was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of parking space and the view from the restaurant was nice. The hotel is located a bit away from Borovets center(not far, just enough) that it was quiet and peacefull.
The location of the hotel is very good, in the heart of Borovets but at the same time around the forest. Clean fresh air. Good furniture - classic style. Jacuzzi in the room. Hotel upgraded our room with the apartment without additional payment. Swimming pool is nice.
The apartment is very well positioned, across the street from Rila hotel, close to the ski lifts and restaurants.
During our stay it snowed every day, so having underground parking was really nice.
We would stay in the same place if we visit Borovets again.
The location is excellent, it feels like being in a cabin in the forest, very nice, quiet, and peaceful. 2-3 minutes drive to Borovets resort. If you want to visit Borovets but don't want to stay in a big soulless hotel, this place is a great alternative.
Very nice hotel - simple but cozy and clean, quiet, some activities to do after skiing like ping-pong,sauna and some other games, variety for breakfast and dinner with tasty food, shuttle to the slopes. 10 min walk to the center of Borovets.
The location is very good. The hotel is very close to the center of the town, near the forest. The staff was very friendly.
It was very quiet, so we were able to rest very well, even though we were very close to the center.
Best yet, 3rd time to Borovets and this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Location for the gondola couldn’t be better, for restaurants and the legendary BJ’s bar too. Highly recommend.
Evetything was amazing! The hotel is newly renovated, smart and modern arranged! The staff is very friendly, calm and efficient. The food is very tasty! Good coffee at breakfast.
The key collection was very easy. The shared facilities in the hotel were better than expected. It was in easy walking distance of the town. Ski rental built into the hotel.
