the walk along the river was gorgeous with the restaurants and coffee shops. There is also the 'market" where you can get fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and many household items, as well as clothing, every Wednesday and Saturday. So glad I got to go.
The archeological site was great, as well as the museum.

I liked the scenery, particularly the mountain road and the city of Kastoria, the old city, Florina the taverns and terraces and the hotel Lingos. Taxi and buses are good and cheap.
I did not like the fact that I could find neither postcards from the city nor a shop with CD of Greek music.

If you are visiting northern Greece, Florina makes a great home base. Within 30 minutes to 1 hour, you can reach most of the surrounding villages to visit family or get in some hiking and skiing.
There are so many cafes and restaurants, you'll have no issues with finding a a great place to eat...definitely go to the smaller restaurants that offer mezes for a great family style meal.
I would recommend parking the car and walking the city...the streets are narrow and congested at times.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom had enough space itself. Location is perfect and you can always find parking, so you won't have problem to park your car, even though the hotel itself has no parking area.
TheBreakfast was perfect; the amount and the quality of the buffet was great. Finally, I personally loved the terrace; it was great to have a last drink before going to sleep!
Last, but not least, the personnel was incredibly polite and they are an asset to the hotel!
Excellent choice for our visit at Florina. Pictures depict exactly what you receive. The whole place is beautiful, well equipped, nothing is missing from kitchen, bath and bedrooms' facilities. Luxurious design helps you relax and enjoy each single part of this loft. Sofia, the owner, is ready to support your needs always with a kind and smiley face as any genuine greek hostess.
Book this experience for you!
We did not plan to stay at Florina, but luckily we did. The hostesses was very responsive to our late booking and very welcoming. The apartment was very nice, clean, fits two persons at least. A cute small balkony with view at the garden and the city, is what you need for your breakfast, or a late drink. The location of the apartment is unique. Value for money.
Everything was ok. The staff was verry helpfull, borrowed me a charger, and umbrella also gave some information about Florina. It was clean and nice, with a good view from the balcony on the mountains. The room had a fridge as well. It is located verry close to the river, where there are nice cafes. Totallt recommend it !
We were heading to N. Macedonia for the day and needed a place near the border. This hotel is very centrally located in the liveliest and most interesting part of town, we can recommend it as a great location inside the town.
Both staff members we met were very helpful and Nikos was especially so.
We loved our room though were surprised that the hotel had switched off the air conditioning although it was still hot in the day. The public spaces are lovely too and we spent the evening outside, enjoying the atmosphere and the fresh air. The staff were absolutely lovely.
The Hotel is located at the edge of the city, so you should use your own transport. Cozy, nice room, large bed with comfortable mattress. The breakfast was good, with many choices. Very polite staff. Free WiFi with good coverage. Good overall price for provided services.
It was perfect size for one person ( good for couple also), located in a friendly area about a 5 min walk from centre of Florina which I liked, very quiet at night, hosts are very helpful. It was easy to walk up to the cross. Amenities were great. It was clean and tidy.
The location of the property was few minutes from the center of Florina, perfect for walks within the town - but still very quiet. It was very well equipped and very clean. The beds are extra comfortable.
Many thanks for the hospitality.
Great resort if you like to visit Florina very luxurious with the that vintage style I adore!Next in the city center and in the main highway to travel to the rest of the district! I will go again! Highly recommended to any traveler!
The Hotel is very clean and comfortable. It has a nice little terrace which can be used to have a drink during the evening, or breakfast. Overall the facilities were superb, and the staff very attentive and friendly.
Fantastic stay- the hotel was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much to ask for, the hotel food is exceptional. I wish I had stayed here longer!
The hotel is perfectly located and surprisingly modern for such a small town. There is even a beautiful roof terrace with a stunning view, well stocked bar, and a DJ in the evening.
The hotel is a bit dated, but we kinda liked the old school atmosphere. Everything was clean and the staff was nice. The location is close to everything you may need in town.
